Absolutely wonderful compared to the competition. My computer has stayed clean and neat looking, but when I had the speck case, dirt and pencil graphite some how got under the case and scratched my computer. This one is so much better. If you are deciding between the two, get this one! …More

I purchased the speck case and I decided to read the reviews. Don't be fooled by the four star average, take your time and read the reviews and you will come across the fact that the speck case is just asking for your MacBook to get scrathed. A MUST HAVE CASE FOR YOUR MACBOOK!

I saw this on the Incase website/blog and just absolutely had to have it...went to the Toronto Eaton Centre Apple store and there it was waiting for me. It's amazingly sleek, has a great rubberized feel/grip, is slightly transulcent so the Apple logo shines through, snaps on and stays on and is contoured perfectly for the Macbook. Now they need to release one for the Macbook Pro. The only downside is you can open the screen slightly past 95 degrees but after that its impeded by the cover...but it's not that restricted.

i highly recommend this case over the speck see thru hard case, this one doesn't scratches your macbook at all, the only disadvantage is the mounting and dismounting of the case, and the accessories don't fit that easily comparing it without having the case.
But if you want a really good investment go for the sleeve instead, for transport protection only, and be careful with your macbook when you take it out of the sleeve. …More13 of 16 people found this useful

I bought this product and, admittedly, it looks quite snazzy, but its durability is subpar at best. It, evidently, is not designed to withstand periodic bookbag transit. Within the first 6 mo-1 yr (a generous estimate), the tabs started busting off and the side where the power cord connects broke and has since continued to break apart. The back side, where the bottom and top pieces touch (when the mac is opened), began cracking long ago. For $50 this shouldn't have happened. Indeed, wear and tear is expected, but this sort of deterioration is due to poor manufacturing. Also, my power cord could not fit securely into the outlet due to the case; it could still be plugged in, just not tightly (although, now that that part is broken, it fits just fine...so I suppose you could intentionally break yours to remedy this issue, or just wait for it to break, which shouldn't take too long). Again, it looks very pretty (I have a red one), but it's certainly overpriced. So buyer beware. …More

I have had the case for about 7 months now and it's great! if installed properly, it fits perfectly. I thought it needed to go on a little snugger on the bottom portion of the case, but as i investigated a little bit more i discovered that it didn't fit as snug as i wanted it to, only because if it fit like a skin, i would not be able to open up my macbook to use it. It is a great product if you follow the directions properly to install it and use it correctly, i have full acess to everything on the sides of my mac, it has great ventilation for the bottom and back of my computer, and it looks great! …More
