Technology featuring high coercivity and ceramic-armor metal particles enables the Tandberg LTO-4 Ultrium tape cartridge to deliver high output, high S/N ratio, and low and stable error rate characteristics. Tandberg Data's recording technologies also allow the recording of servo track signals with greater accuracy through the increased data track density of the Ultrium 4 format. This cartridge has passed the million-head-pass test in a high-speed Ultrium 4 drive.

Long answer short: look into getting a 1TB HDD; you can pick them up now for as little as £50.
No w for the long answer: you'd need a tape drive, which would set you back about four grand, not to mention the fact that you can't use a tape drive a MacBook, so you'd need a Mac Pro with a fibre channel card, which would be another two and a half grand (for the lowest spec). …- Answered by C T
