First Steps does not work with Leopard

The software freezes at a certain point. Contacted Nova and they confirmed does not work with Lepoard. Packages is deceiving.

The best for a 2 and 3 year old

My son was 2 years old when i got it and it is by far the best software i got for him. He learned so much (animal sounds,things, songs etc). He only have to touch a key different from other software were he just have to listen (like a tv program) or the others were the adult have to do everything. My son wants to touch the computer and he learned to do it softly and he learned patience (he knows he has to wait for the character to finish talking). For this reasons I gave the product 4 stars, he is practicing a computer skill and also learning something educative. My only complaint is the letter, color, shape sections, it is boring. …More

I bought this at an Apple Retail store no less! My young daughter was crushed when I tried installing it on TWO of our home Macs. In both cases, I got the "does not work with this architecture" message. Don't be fooled by the system requirements. They were clearly printed BEFORE Leopard (Mac OSX 10.5x) — probably around the time Mac OSX 10.2 was the latest operating system. …More
