As a stand-alone iPod music system, JBL On Stage Micro fills your room with accurate, full-spectrum sound. Connected to your computer, it upgrades your speakers, keeps your iPod in sync and frees up a ton of desk space. Never before has something so small been quite so entertaining.
Features
- Incorporates the Apple iPod Universal Dock adapter and is compatible with most docking versions of iPod. A stereo mini-jack connection also allows you to enjoy high-quality audio from a variety of other devices such as MP3 and CD players, desktop computers and laptops (all platforms).
- Easy-to-use touch controls for convenient desktop use. One touch increases or decreases the volume; one touch mutes or unmutes the system. JBL On Stage Micro even remembers your previous settings when the system is powered on.
- OnePoint iPod connectors provide full connection to your computer. Just attach the standard iPod cable to the back of the On Stage Micro, and every time you dock your iPod, you'll have a connection for synchronizing.
- Advanced technology to provide astonishing bass and clear accurate sound from a pocket-sized system.
- Full-access IR remote control lets you change tracks, browse libraries, adjust settings, and scroll-through extras.
- Class D digital amplifiers offer clean, powerful sound while extending battery life.
- Two aluminum-domed Odyssey transducers driven by powerful Neodymium magnets deliver a full rich frequency response from the lowest bass to the highest highs.
- AC or battery powered for maximum mobility. Automatic battery saving shutoff puts the system into sleep mode when the cover is closed or when there is no audio input; re-awakens with just a touch and resumes at the same volume level when the cover is opened or the input resumes. An amber LED flashes when the battery protection circuit senses the batteries are low.

What a great system. I just got this today. The sound quality is incredible. The remote works really well. I love the sleek, small design. Amazing that so much sound can come out of such a small unit. I can't wait to use it when I travel. It also comes with a nice travel case. I highly recommend this product. …More

This is great! It works really well, and the sound is amazing. When you turn the volume up, and put the speaker at the opposite end of a room that you are in, it sounds like there is surround sound or something. …More

JBL On Stage Micro Speakers for iPod
Nicely detailed speaker with limitations
Written by SC from KENOSHA

JBL sends the circular speaker with a convenient traveling bag, remote and AC adaptor when not used with batteries. The adapters are not labeled, and it will not charge all of the iPods it can play. The sound is plenty adequate, with sparkling highs, full mid-range, and audible (but admittedly weak) bass. The speaker will distort when pushed to maximum sound levels. I've purchased 4 in different colors, with prices ranging from half the listed price to double the listed price, so deals are to be had. I've had better luck with it than comparably priced Altec and Logitech docks. Despite lacking a remote control, the Cyber Acoustic iRhythms dock at less than half the price sounds slightly better and is a better value (with adapters marked for the appropriate iPod). If you can find one, the Athena iVoice, especially when discounted, is simply unbeatable. …More

JBL On Stage Micro Speakers for iPod
Love it!
Written by DE from greenhills

I've had this thing for about 5-6 months now, and I really love it. Only problem is I need to get a dock adapter for my 4g nano because I feel like I'm going to break off the little piece that connects to the ipod in the dock every time I put it in. The sound quality was very unexpected. This is tiny, but it does get quite loud. I love mine, I have it on my desk in my dorm, and it takes up hardly any space and still rocks. …More
