I have been looking for something like this forever ... works great keeping cord managed and clean and clips on to my shirt ... probably overpriced for what it is ... but it does a great job More

The Holy Grail of cable management

Written by DS from Virginia Beach

For the last 10 months I've gone around with cable loops tied up with twist-ties waiting for something like this. The Belkin TuneTies are fine for what they do, but you have to coil the cord pretty tightly around them and that puts stress on the wires inside. I think that's what killed my first Apple Radio remote. If you want to manage your earbuds or Apple remote cable, this is the solution. I love it. It costs too much, but what are your alternatives? Twist-ties? I highly recommend it. Geek chic! More

Hurrah! At last a great solution to a nagging problem!

This is the ultimate solution to the nagging problem of extra earphone cord dangling when running and with tangling when stored. This item is easy to use, stores the extra cord neatly and since the whole thing can be clipped to your jacket or armband you don't have the weight of the cord and holder flipflopping as you run. It is also really good for storing the earphones between runs and eliminates the annoyance of having to detangle them everytime before a run. The flexible rubber dome flips back so you can wrap the cord around the core and then you just flip it back down over the cord and they stay put. They are expensive, but you are paying for good design. I hope the folks at Belkin keep up the good work! They must be runners also! I have ordered three more to store the earphones of my other MP3 player and to give as gifts to my family. More

The real PROS and CONS to the point. (overall - exelent device)

If you read all the other reviews, they're all prety much right.
Durable flexible ruber case, built in clip, resistant plastic. And all the good stuff everyone else says.
Here's the CON to consider. This clip was designed to store (coiled inside) enough cable no more than 4 feet. (less than the length of both extended arms) Wich is about the standard length of phone cables in the market anyway, or less. If you already own a head set or earbud set thats longer, it will not fit in the case nicely. It will protrude.
If your gonna buy new earbuds, then this should not be a problem.
For that matter. Thery're still verry good to have. (hence the 5 star rating)

    The best so far

Written by JM from Makati City

I've had 4 other cord organizers before I got the Belkin Earbud Clip, and this one is by far the best in terms of construction, functionality, and materials used. The others were just an organizer w/o a clip and got destroyed easily due to sub-par materials. This piece from Belkin is made of thick, durable rubber and plastic. Aside from storing excess cord, you can also attach it conveniently to almost anything to keep it fixed in one place. It looks good too. More
