    Perfect except durability

These headphones are perfect for runners. They are comfortable (I absolutely hate earbuds - they hurt and fall out) and the sound is terrific for < $40. The only drawback is the durability.

Everyone who buys these must expect an almost universally reported flaw: one speaker fizzles out after 6 months to a year. However, I can give that a pass for the price. I'd rather buy these headphones twice a year than put up with any other earbuds-style headphones or any other headphones I've ever purchased.

Serves its purpose for a limited time.

For the price, these headphones are good for working out or even general use. I use them when riding a bike into work so that I can still hear traffic noises like on-coming cars. The on-ear clip makes extended listening a game of endurance for the ears. Like other reviewers, I've had to replace mine more than once due to the wire in the back coming loose and also for sound cutting out of one side. More

    Not so good

I had a first generation pair of these and used them for running. The cord that is attached to the headphone begins to wear and fray after use. The wiring became exposed and eventually fell off. More

They talked about it having good bass, but it wasn't that great. After a little over a month the speakers went out. The chord is lengthy as well. More

Best headphone design for comfort and sound.... very poor longevity

I've tried everything from Sony to JBL to Motorola to Skullcandy(believe it or not) for when I'm running and so far these Nikes are the best headphones I've owned. They fit my large ears comfortably and I hardly notice them when I have them on. I love that the cable comes out the back. I like that they fit on the ear rather than in them for both comfort and safety.

Unfortunately, I've experienced the same thing that many other reviewers here have with one side going out. I was lucky that my first pair lasted for 7 months. The second lasted about 3. I just ordered another from this site as they currently have the best price. I called around to several sports and electronic retailers and no one seems to carry these anymore so I'm concerned that they may be nearing the end of their life. I guess I'll either be taking up a soldering iron soon or looking for a suitable replacement.

    Bad quality

Nice design and were great for about a month and a half. After that one of the speakers stopped working and the next day the other one... I guess Nike isn't too concerned about quality. Save your money buy something else! More
