    Brill idea; overpriced.

This nifty little mount is effective, but it is, after all, made of plastic and sorely overpriced.

    Great mount!

I own and operate a hotel in CT. Before we had one Linksys WAP54G and 5 linksys access points. Each with there own problems. Droped signals, ect. So, we opted to get three extremes. We mounted the extremes on three floors, on the ceiling. Had an electrician wire the airports for power and with ethernet wires. What a difference in appearance. Guests do not even notice the airports. Mounting them on the ceiling, prevents theft. this mount is a must for any extreme owner. More

Works great and wires not an issue

This mount was perfect for our needs. Works just as advertised and the wires went right behind the mount. We tried it in both horizontal and vertical mounting and it really does help the range and speed of the Airport Extreme. Well worth the purchase price. We plan to get more. More

    Excellent design; works well.

This is a very cleverly and carefully designed product. Ir comes with the pre-drilled Lexan mount for the Airport Extreme as well as with molly bolts for mounting it to drywall. Ours went up in just a few minutes. The grooves on the Extreme slid into the tabs on the mount easily and the shelf at the bottom stopped ours cold. The kit includes a small mount for the power supply. The only 'trick' to using this is that one must unplug the power cord, which then fits through the oval hole in the mount properly and plugs back in to the power supply unit. This 'tricky' part took about 15 seconds to figure out.

The mount is strong, the Extreme works very well in it. I at first resented the price for a hunk of plastic. I now figure I paid 35 bucks for the design and 5 bucks for the plastic. I found it well worth it.

    Looking Better While Working Better.....

In A Nut Shell my Airport Extreme is now mounted upside down on the ceiling with absolutely no wires showing, I purchased an add-on accessory USB LED Light that locks into the Acrylic Plastic underneath on the Air Mount that plugs into your once useless USB/Service Port that makes your Air Mount Glow! My Airport Extreme range & speed has improved about 30% by mounting my Airport Extreme on the ceiling using the H-Squared, LLC Air Mount! My Airport Extreme is up there glowing & showing itself off! Basically looking better while working better! I also Purchased the Air Mount TC for my Time Capsule & tvTray Mount for my Apple TV & they to are also “Looking Better While Working Better"!! Very Solid Acrylic Plastic! Very Easy To Mount! Highly Recommended to all Airport Extreme, Time Capsule & Apple TV owners......... More

    Mediocre

The mount itself is fine, but the little mount that comes with it to hold the AirPort Extreme power adaptor does not fit the cables. For an item that was priced at a premium, I expect everything to at least be the right size. More
