Overview

Harry's fifth year at Hogwarts is shaping up to be his most dangerous yet. Fearing that Hogwarts' venerable Headmaster, Albus Dumbledore, is lying about the return of Voldemort in order to undermine his power, Minister for Magic Cornelius Fudge appoints a new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher to keep watch over Dumbledore and the students. But Professor Dolores Umbridge's ministry-approved course leaves the young wizards woefully unprepared; so Hermione, Ron, and Harry form "Dumbledore's Army" with the goal of preparing themselves and other courageous young wizards for the extraordinary battle that looms against Voldemort and his Death Eaters.

    However, the game lacks the adventure. You cant really lose, cant be defeated (unless the plot needs you to). To make this clear: you have no health bar. It is no longer an adventure game then... all you have to do is find things and talk to people. In previous games, there are story plots, but you have challenges! you fight, win/lose! This game is not the adventure the others are.

This game is somewhat addicting but can get tedious with all the tasks,yet still keeps me entertained.So it's a 4 cause it's not as great as i expected but helps pass time.

I was…Read more a little worried about buying it after reading some of the other reviews on this site. However like any other game I read the requirements and made sure my computer had all the right stuff to make the game worth my time. I also found that you can change the quality so that it moves more quickly or the graphics are better. I also found that I could change the resolution of the game which also would help speed up the game a prevent freezing.

    Apparently, the graphic card in macbooks are not up to this game standard, but you can still play.

    This is a solid, often charming game that will definitely appeal to Harry Potter fans in search of a fun, not-too-complicated gami…Read moreng experience. The Mac version is well implemented and should run well on any system that meets or exceeds the published requirements. I recommend playing with a dual-analog gamepad as opposed to the default keyboard/mouse controls as having to constantly hold down the run key to get anywhere in a reasonable amount of time is a little annoying. Also, experienced gamers will most-likely find the game a bit too short/easy. If you're not already an HP fan, this game will probably do little to win you over, but it is definitely one of the only solid third-person action/adventure games to come out for the Mac in quite a while and as such is worth a look for fans of that genre.
