    Not what I expected

Bad points - The amount of money spent on this new Sims2 game was not really worth it. I am disappointed with this game, as I finiRead moreshed Riley's story in 3 days, and I was not playing all day and night, just a few hours over the 3 days after I got it. You can't use any of your expansion packs like pets, open for business, or university in Life stories, I thought that was disappointing as well.

Good points - I liked the concept of a story driven game, but it's so easy to play and then it's over so quick. I played the game at 1680 x 1050 on my intel imac and I was still able to run msn, outlook, and other programs all at the same time. I thought this was very convenient compared to the normal version of Sims2. The story is interesting and fun.

Overall - It's fun for a short time if you want to spend the $50 bucks. If you have the console version I would stick with that and play the normal Sims2 on your mac.

THE SIMS LIFE STORIES = The Sims 2.5... runs using the Sims 2 engine but requires less system resources. but IT IS NOT Sims 2..

Bought this game for my MB Black. Even though it says notebook friendly, its not really that notebook friendly, esp with Intel GMA 950 video chipset. I have it running 800x600 with every setting medium, even though itll run smoothly, there will be some problems. e.g: when creating a sim the floor will be black and when buying countertops the counter top along with the counter will be black.

pluses is that it runs in a 800x600 windowed mode where it will allow you to do anything you want when you play Sims. but since its relatively small compared to the MBs native resolution you'll probably have to squint or sit really close to your laptop.
