Tightly integrated with Apple's iLife, Kid Pix makes it easy to put together animated projects with music imported from iTunes playlists or from GarageBand, and a new iPhoto button makes it easy to bring in backgrounds from your iPhoto albums.
Kids can use the built-in dancing letters to create opening credits and then export them automatically as the opening sequence in a new iMovie project. All the on-screen graphics have been re-rendered to make Kid Pix stretch to fill the newest high-resolution Apple displays and still look spectacular. I purchased this software for my 5 year old daughter, thinking it would take her several years to be able to really get the hang of the elements that make up kid pix. I was SO wrong! Within a few days she was able to import from iphoto and itunes, cut, crop, paste, and make slide shows! The only thing I have not shown her yet is how to burn DVD's. I am afraid there would not be a DVD left in the house.
She has now taught my 2 1/2 year old to open the program, go to the coloring tools, choose his own colors, stamp, and add animations. This software is a MUST have for any family. It provides HOURS of educational entertainment. I only wish I had this software when I was young. I don't believe the hours I spent trying to learn PowerPoint would have been nearly as painful. …More252 of 337 people found this useful

If you have kids between the ages of 2-10 you must have this game! It provides the kids with hours and hours of fun.
My four year old plays with this game all the time and just loves it. She's been working on it since she was 2. KidPix can grow with the children's skill level from basic button pushing all the way to sophisticated story telling.
KidPix interacts w/ iLife and so kids can tell stories based upon the photos & videos you got on your computer. Also, buy this version from Mackiev, don't buy KidPix 4, it doesn't even compare. …More172 of 254 people found this useful

great game, install w updates & screen handling ... sometimes though when toggling back to another active window minimze is non functional
my 4.5 y old loves it!! ... can totally start it herself ... save & print etc
