Felt a bit empty - without more exp packs

    Written by TG from Tigard

The fun part is how this game breaks down the buying & selling in different sections. If you can't DAZZEL someone to buy a flat scRead morereen TV... you can always use your cooking skills to entice a customer to eat at the food counter at RAMERIEZ FURNATURE at Blue Lake Shopping District.

Mistakes are learned to your advantage if you pay close attention. Mr. Landgrab makes a great SALES PERSON at the ELECTRONICS STORE, but is very stupid when it comes to running DANTE'S NIGHTCLUB. Avoid using the ticket tape booth - unless you want to make people PAY to use the HOT TUBS.

Running a business will teach you to think. Once you realize how SIMOLEONS are gained and lossed by the kind of staff you hire to mind the store... you learn very fast how difficult it is to be a supervisor and business owner.

Lesson to learn here - develop your own brilliant strategy, and come up with your own kind of market. Break down your sim competitor...

It isn't bad but it's not very interesting and is kind of boring so I would buy Nightlife or Seasons instead.

    For the ''Business type'' people,

This was the first expansion pack I got, it was fun, it is fun still because I learned that its cool to make HUGE businesses. but Read moreits not for me, if your the 'Business Type' then this is right for you. Either that or you need more expansion packs so there would be more stuff to sell. Like the pets expansion pack and the business expansion packs are a great combo, I don't have pets, but i will have it VERY SOON. I know this because of the 'Designer Walkthrough' on the sims 2 website and/or youtube. Check those out to see if you like it, they tell you all about the expansion packs, or find some reviews online. You can really find out if you like this, I mean, I just went out and bought it without checking it out!

    A Well Rounded Review

I'm newer to "The Sims 2" gaming. I purchased "Open For Business" as my first expansion pack along with "Nightlife". I was initiRead moreally drawn to "Open For Business" because of the ability to become an entrepreneur as most of my sims aspirations are fortune.

I found "Open For Business" gameplay VERY fun. It was really intriguing and open-ended as far as the possibilities. I'd say the learning curve is 1/2 Hour - 1 Hour depending on how quick of a learner you are.

Once you've gotten past the initial learning curve and are familiar with your business you'll have a ton of fun. And if you're like me, once your sim starts raking in the cash you'll be grinning ear to ear. It's very fulfilling for any person who has an entrepreneur mindset. ;-)

I give it 4 stars only because I don't believe anything is perfect. Otherwise it's pretty darn close.
