I'm a huge fan of I Spy and love to read the books with my children, so when I found the I Spy mystery for the computer I was excited. I actually tried the I Spy spooky program at the Apple store before purchasing the I Spy Mystery software. It takes hours of viewing to solve the whole mystery. The problem is they use some of the same puzzles in each of the different software packages and I think that stinks. If i'm paying 30 bucks, I want new puzzles. I deleted Classic from my iMac over a year ago. An email from the company says that I can return it for an exchange or a refund. We'll see how that works out. Two stars because I know this is a great game, but no more because it does not give a warning about needing Classic. …More

I have purchased all three versions. My kids love these. Very appropriate content and keeps them engaged. My kids are ages 6-8.
As for the review that says it runs in 9 only - that is simply not true.
Runs on OSX but has an install OPTION for OS 9.
If it's installed incorrectly it won't work - I call that "Operator Error!" …More3 of 3 people found this useful
