Cute, but not educational very repetitive few games for the cost.

While this does the book in a cute style it does not do much for education or language-reading development. Most of the enjoyable parts of this game are just silly antics, not games that teach. The games are not stimulating and generally my 4 year old gets bored very quickly with them. This should certainly be offered with more in the package for the price. I was not happy with the scanty games for the cost. …More

Fantastic

This is an awesome kids games, it is fun and has allot of replay value, It takes story book to a whole new level, Songs are great and I love the fact that you can click every-word and it will read it to you. Most everything is clickable in the story which makes it very interactive, Cat in the Hat, and ABC are equally as good. I just wish Mackiev will get the ball rolling and come up with some new Dr Seuss addition . Hop on Pop maybe or one fish two fish or other popular Seuss books. …More

Great idea but bug makes it unusable
Written by WK from Baltimore

My 4 year old really liked this game in the Apple Store. Bought it and installed it at home but there's a bug that makes the mouse cursor disappear in "game" mode making the interactive games unusable. Mouse cursor also disappears during the read-along mode where the user can jump ahead or back, only to reappear once the chapter is over, effectively making the user-defined pace worthless.
There's a Leopard update patch available from MacKiev (the software author) which I installed and it did not fix the issue.
Very frustrating because I also bought the Cat In The Hat version. …More11 of 18 people found this useful
