The Sims 2 University allows your Sims to explore a whole new stage of life as young adults and introduces college-related wants and fears that are ultimately tied to their social life and academic goals. The expansion also introduces influence gameplay that lets you earn influence points to have other Sims do certain tasks for your Sims such as homework, term papers, cleaning up the fraternity house or even pulling pranks on other Sims.

The entire Sims series is fantastic, I love it so much that I owned every single expansion for Sims 1. Once Sims 2 came out, I was quick to sell them all and get the newest game and I must say it's fantastic.
The Sims 2 University is a fantastic add-on to the game. You're now able to take your sims through a university experience and help them plan for a better future! Hurray! You get a bunch of objects, clothes, etc. as always and it's all really well done!
The only problem I have with this series is the lag on Mac release! The newest Mac expansion pack, The Sims 2 Nightlife was just released last week, and the Windows already has another brand new expansion! (The Sims 2 Open For Business) I hope in the future Aspyr will be able to negotiate simultaneous (or close) release on both Mac and PC!

I got this as my first expansion pack in December and I was thrilled to get it. It looked awesome, authentic, and so much like real life. I got hooked right away and it really inspired me to write more stories. Thanks Maxis for helping me to achieve something! It's a very cool game I personally think. I'm going to play it right now ^.^

I am so glad to have this expansion pack. Playing a kid in college while I'm in college is kind of weird. But the performance is good, everything works, and the game in general is awesome! I played it on my now infected PC before getting it for my powerbook, and the graphics are so much better on my laptop. And take advantage of the zombies! …More

What I love about this expansion: Teens can become young adults at any time. So if you are bored of teen life you can move them along. Dorm living is great. There are always Sims around to socialize with but you don't have to play them all. Once you get enough homework done, you have free time until the end of the semester to socialize and play around. The college town is separate from your regular town so it doesn't change your original game.
I was hoping for new hairstyles, and there are a few. They are all looks so you can make a stereotype college sim--grunge guy or skater boy, etc. …More27 of 30 people found this useful

The chances of Character Building or Breakdown is possible here.
You'll get to see who "has" and who "has not" the ability to get through one semester at a time. QUICKLY you will discover that this isn't a place to run away from domestic stuff such as parents. This is actually the time to figure out if that child will show promise and be a brick in the community.
No option here to work a "steady" part time job. The hours of class varies from semester and exam. Meanwhile, there's a lot of distractions along the way such as PARTIES and PLACES OF INTERESTS.
Give a gift to the professor in the class that your in.

This expansion pack has to be one of my all time favorites! It provides a whole new way of life for your sim, and opens up many new and exiting doors to them. This pack acts just as college in real life would, and helps your sim climb the sucess ladder at a rapid speed! I would love for Apple to release all the Sims 2 products and packs to the world of mac! Such as The Sims 2 IKEA Stuff, or The Sims 2 H&M Fassion Stuff. This would be greatly appreciated! I would not hesitate to purchase all the other PC Sims 2 games for Macs if they came out with them!! …More
