Don't use for Video playback
The audio on these powerbeats is great. They are comfortable to wear as well.

Where the powerbeats2 fail is in audio playback when watching video. I've experienced this on my iPhone 5s, iPad 4 and Mac. One solution provided was to reset the headphones - that doesn't address the problem.
The firmware is supposedly upgradeable. Its been months since released and the version remains at 1.0.
I would not recommend these headphone is your primary use is for watching Videos, the audio lag will drive you nuts. Now that Beats is owned by Apple, I am hoping that this gets resolved. Its surprising that they haven't dealt with this as of yet.
Check other references to this problem on the web. It seems uniformly held as an issue. …

After 5 months of use.....

However, as indicated by my title, these guys never got returned. I bought these headphones as workout headphones, but they have replaced my day-to-day headphones for some time now.
First, let me address some of the common issues that people are facing when using these headphones.....
Many people seem to say that they are getting lip-syncing issues, and other audio quality issues from the headphones.
I also experienced this when I took these headphones out of the box. However, after plugging my headphones into my macbook pro, the headphones updated firmware and I never faced the issues again. To those who are experiencing this issue, I would encourage you to a attempt updating the firmware. After the firmware update, the ONLY issue with the headphones syncing sounds/music is that when typing; the apple classic "clicking" from tapping the letters is out of sync. Meaning, I hear the "click" sound about .5 seconds after I tap the letter. This is annoying, but not that big of an issue in a world of siri. I watch netflix on a daily basis using my iPhone, macbook, and iPad without a problem with these headphones.
I have read reviews about the headphones' negotiable reliability when exposed to extreme sweat or rain. Although I use these when I run, I have never experienced an issue with it. I do however remove my headphones when it rains, which was a precaution I never took with my standard wired headphones. So, this facet is one I cannot talk about. However, the headphones do seem to hold up in day-to-day use.
Second, Sound quality. I am by no means a head-phone connoisseur, but these headphones sound pretty amazing. In fact, they have completely replaced my apple headphones for day to day use. Im sure that in comparison to some $500 headphones, these guys would fall short by a lot. However, I paid $200 for the bluetooth ability not sound quality. Which that brings me to the best part....
These headphones are winless!! (duh). This is a feature that I thought was a novelty, and that would not play that big of a role in my da-to-day life. Boy was I wrong. Now I have a hard time with wired headphones. I hated having my headphones pulled out of my ear, or the dramatic event when my headphones flung my iPhone 6+ out of my wallet and onto the pavement. This is an experience I no longer deal with, and I have begun to just accept this as part of my every day life. So here is my one warning to these guys. You WILL become accustomed to wireless headphones!
I never write reviews, but I felt obligated because I saw how lowly reviewed these are.
My bottom line is to remember, you are paying extra money for the BLUETOOTH ability. The cheapest set of bluetooth headphones I can find are ~$100 and they are some of the ugliest things I have every seen. These do not look that bad and they sound great. You are not going to get a pair of $500 Bose headphones with these guys, so if that is what you are after look elsewhere. However, I love them. I also probably will be using bluetooth for a very long time.....
I have used these headphones with:
iPhone 6 plus
2013 15" macbook pro
2011 13" macbook air
2013 13" macbook air …

I didn't even purchase these after almost 25 minutes of having them on in the apple store.... I own B&O and Jawbones again the fit is less desired... So i can't contest to the rest of the items people are speaking of but Apple needs to take their current headphones and make those bluetooth AND SELL BEATS... Buy a reputable company that people will actually buy from... Invest in your own technologies such as the headphone makeover that made me keep my set that came with my 6Plus... The part that doesn't fit well is the round part where the gels attach to not the tube or the jell itself... Further more I will not waste my time with such poor products...
