Where the powerbeats2 fail is in audio playback when watching video. I've experienced this on my iPhone 5s, iPad 4 and Mac. One solution provided was to reset the headphones - that doesn't address the problem.
The firmware is supposedly upgradeable. Its been months since released and the version remains at 1.0.

I have an Iphone 6 with IOS 8.1, and the Audio Lag is there. I bet that the lag is also in the music from your playlist, but since we cannot "See it", there is no way to prove it. Aside from that I haven't had any other problem with them. Good grip when running, good sound, I have no problems with battery time. I already have 2 months of use with them.
I expect Apple to fix this because 200 dollars for earphones that aren't working properly is insane. I wouldn't recommend them. If there are betetr options in ther market, go for them. Avoid this product until the sync problem is fixed. …
