First impressions were not good. Bass was extremely shallow, and sound in general seemed to be higher pitched. Almost wanted to return it, but magically the sound seemed to correct itself. At least the music was coming out, sounding right.
Not the best quality sound, but still great. The bass doesn't thump like full sized speakers, that's to be expected. Allow for some "break in" time. Don't kick it to the curb, on first impression. …

Why would I want this product?

Yeah it might look neat but let's be real, you're paying for the name. The sound quality is sharp and harsh, not even bassy or balanced. Maybe it's pretty loud but let's compare it to the bose sound link mini for THE SAME PRICE. The Bose has SO much more bass, but it's still a balanced sound. The bass isn't overdone like beats is always trying to do. The bose is made from solid aluminum, built like a tank. You can't go wrong with the bose, add it to your cart now and forget the Beat Pill. Waste of money this thing. …

Awesome! Loud! Great beats buy!

I love it ! …

Better Speakers Elsewhere
This is the largest waste of money I have ever spent on an electronic product in the last 5 years. The only positive thing I can w This is the largest waste of money I have ever spent on an electronic product in the last 5 years. The only positive thing I can write about this product is that the packaging was really nice. On to the good stuff. The most noticeable thing is the amount of audible static coming through the speakers at all times, which also interferes with phone calls. Sound quality is poor at best, with the mids completely muffled, not much bass (not that I would expect a lot from a BT speaker) and overly sharp highs. It also sounds tinny and muffled at lower volumes. The battery lasts half as long as it should compared to other speakers. I guess the real plus is that it gets kind of loud and I don't care about its well being so its the perfect party/beach speaker. Buy anything else. …
