A complete update of Beats' most popular model, the Beats by Dr. Dre Solo2 headphones offer improved acoustics, a wider range of sound, and enhanced clarity for all the music on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod. They also deliver even greater comfort thanks to a streamlined, lightweight, and durable design.
Feel a new kind of sound
The Solo2 headphones have a more dynamic and wider range of sound, with a clarity that can bring you closer to what the artist intended you to hear. You'll feel the higher fidelity audio no matter what type of music you play.
Starting at the center of the flexible headband, the frame is curved even more to enhance the custom-fit feeling. The earcups are ergonomically angled to complete this natural fit, and they pivot for optimal comfort and sound delivery. The earcups' premium material also helps dissipate heat and minimize sound leakage.
Fast-flowing curves, a lack of visible screws, and easy foldability exemplify the sleek aesthetic of Beats Solo2. That thoughtful approach extends to engineering and material selection, which together resulted in a more durable headphone that stands up to extended use.

Love love love my new grey solo2 beats. It was love at first sight, MAD LOVE at first listen - these guys aren't noise cancelling but you could have fooled me into thinking they were. Lightweight, great sound, a HUGE upgrade from the original solos (not even a comparison). Overall they just seem much better quality.
CONs: Not a con for me since I have an average sized (female) head and these fit like a glove. I've read some reviews saying they are too tight and I think some bigger headed people may want to get the Studio instead, these are perfect for me though! …

On-Ear is very uncomfortable
Although the sound is great and they *initially* felt comfortable, I found that after 30-45 minutes of use that my ears hurt from Although the sound is great and they *initially* felt comfortable, I found that after 30-45 minutes of use that my ears hurt from the pressure of the headset pushing my ears against my noggin. I do not have an overly large head or ears, but because these headphones sit ON your ear and not OVER your ear, my ears hurt after removing the headphones.
I exchanged the "Solo2 On-Ear Headphones" for the "Studio Wireless Over-Ear Headphones" and I am very pleased with my decision to exchange them. The Over-Ear headphones are more expensive than the On-Ear, but well worth the additional expense. Ultimately, I decided that if I was going to spend an extra 100 bucks for Over-Ear that I would also go for the wireless option because at that point what's another 80 bucks. …

The right side headphone , wh like the other reviewers I really like the look, feel and sound of the Sol2 right up until it broke. The right side headphone , where the metal joins the plastic, it snapped just above the joint. No way to fix it.
