Feel your music
The Beats Acoustic Engine gives you an intimate, real encounter with your music. Thanks to Beats' signature DSP software delivers the exact emotional experience that Dr. Dre, Jimmy Iovine, and some of the music industry's greatest rock, hip-hop, pop, electronic, and R&B producers want you to feel.
Put the world on mute
Silence the noise from your daily commute or the drama from your loud neighbors with Beats' no-compromise dual-mode Adaptive Noise Canceling (ANC). When you're listening to music, ANC automatically strikes a balance between your audio and the world outside. And if you want to use the headphone just to cancel external noise, ANC-only mode automatically increases the level of noise cancellation to make things even quieter.

Better call in Dr. Dre because these puppies are sick!
Wireless is wonderful. I don't have to worry about a cord sagging by my left side and I can leave my iPhone in one room and go to Wireless is wonderful. I don't have to worry about a cord sagging by my left side and I can leave my iPhone in one room and go to another all without stopping my music. Yeah, once in a while the music will stop or scratch but it fixes itself and life goes on. If this bothers you, you do have the option to use an auxiliary cord. I enjoy the sound quality and the noise cancellation. Bose noise cancellation is a little better, but I like that these have their own built-in, rechargeable battery. The battery life is nice; I can listen to my music while doing homework for a couple days before having to charge. The charging takes maybe a little over an hour at most. Overall, I really enjoy these headphones and recommend them to everyone. Don't like Beats?....don't buy them, but give them a shot! …

Phenomenal sound and battery for wireless
These headphones are amazing. Both the style and bass is more subdued compared the previous studio beats and it really works in it These headphones are amazing. Both the style and bass is more subdued compared the previous studio beats and it really works in it's favour. The sound is less muddy by not sacrificing the mids and highs for artificially punchy bass (while keeping the lows well represented). I have only used them a handful of times wired (I'm in wireless 95% of the time) but there is no noticeable difference in sound quality between wired and wireless modes. The range is pretty decent (I get about 25-30 feet through walls/floors) but it is best in open areas. The fit and finish is top notch and it is dead simple to setup and control. Very comfortable too, as I have been using them for weeks now, hours at a time with little to no discomfort. The built-in mic could be a touch louder and the Noise cancelling isn't at the Level of Bose, but it is more than adequate for everything from the daily commute to drowning out office sounds.
They are pricey (the only "con") but if you can swing it, and wireless in important – you won't regret it. …

The headphones are nice and easy to wear. The sound is very good for a wireless device.
I would also suggest that you don't buy it based on any comment and go try it yourself in a store to have a better idea.

This was my very 1st question as well because there is a plastic protector that says "Charge me up b This was my very 1st question as well because there is a plastic protector that says "Charge me up before turning me on" and the Quick Start Guide says absolutely nothing about how the LED indicators relate to percentage charged. After an hour of digging, I found this info on the beatsbydre website...
Here’s what the LEDs on the Fuel Gauge mean:
When unplugged from power source:
5 white lights signal full or near-full charge
1 solid red light signals low charge
1 flashing red light signals battery is near depletion
No lights signal headphone is powered off or battery is not charging
