An icon remastered
Completely redesigned, the Beats Studio over-ear headphones are even lighter, stronger, and more comfortable, and more precise than the original world-famous design. They deliver powerful, re-engineered sound alone with Adaptive Noise Canceling, a 20-hour rechargeable battery, and Remote Talk controls.
Feel your music
The Beats Acoustic Engine gives you an intimate, real encounter with your music. Thanks to Beats' signature DSP software delivers the exact emotional experience that Dr. Dre, Jimmy Iovine, and some of the music industry's greatest rock, hip-hop, pop, electronic, and R&B producers want you to feel.
Put the world on mute
Silence the noise from your daily commute or the drama from your loud neighbors with Beats' no-compromise dual-mode Adaptive Noise Canceling (ANC). When you're listening to music, ANC automatically strikes a balance between your audio and the world outside. And if you want to use the headphone just to cancel external noise, ANC-only mode automatically increases the level of noise cancellation to make things even quieter.
A 20-hour rechargeable battery makes sure your vibe keeps going. To prevent wasting energy, the Auto On/Off feature turns off when you unplug, and the visible Battery Fuel Gauge lets you see at a glance how much juice is available. Plus, you can charge the new Studio via standard micro USB adapter almost anywhere.
Lighter, stronger, and more comfortable
When Beats re-imagined these legendary headphones, they designed it like a beautiful sports car and made disciplined choices. They streamlined the new Beats Studio with fast curves, smooth surfaces, and no visible screws. It now weighs 13 percent less than the original and has a lighter, stronger, and more comfortable headband. The ear cups are softer and there's an ergonomic bellow to create a flexible, custom fit for every head shape, so you can keep your music all to yourself.
- Beats Acoustic Engine uses precision sound to deliver music the way artists want it to be heard
- Streamlined design enhances fit, distributes weight, and adds comfort
- Adaptive Noise Canceling blocks out the world in two modes
- Ear cups for sound isolation
- 20-hour rechargeable battery with Auto On/Off and a visible Battery Fuel Gauge

Great sound fidelity, all around. Nice selection of accessories (cables, USB charger, case). Love the fact that they are rechargeable and the battery meter is sleek and easy to read.
I was especially surprised by how good the noise cancelling is. Neighbor was mowing the lawn and I didn't even notice.
Great job Dre! …

They are sleeker than other headphones (including older beats) and the rechargeable feature is cool too. But most importantly they offer the highest sound quality and the best noise cancellation technology of any headphones I have tried. I also like the cool packaging and how light they feel even when you have them on for hours. Highly Recommended! …

Yes, these headphones have spectacular bass, but Its not "all about the bass". My biggest complaint about these headphones are the Yes, these headphones have spectacular bass, but Its not "all about the bass". My biggest complaint about these headphones are the Active Noise Cancellation. Beats call it "Dual-Mode Adaptive Noise Cancellation". In active noise cancellation the headset itself must detect the low frequency sound in the environment around the user and essentially match the magnitude of those sound waves and recreate a new sound wave with opposite alternating trough and crests. Thus the sound waves are essentially "cancelled" out. When turning these headphones on without any music playing, all I can hear is fuzz, a louder fuzz and cloudy noise than I would with the headphone off. They sound pretty good when actually playing music, but even when listening to a song, you can still detect the levels of "tin" and "muddiness" in the background. Try them out, and see for yourself. They're worth a try, but thats what return policies are for. …

I have experience with Beyerdynamic 990's, ATH M50's, and AKG K271's.
To me, these are the best headphones I have used of the above mentioned.
The separation I hear between instruments and voices is amazing. The bass goes deep, and is very articulate. They may not be flat in freq. response compared to the others I have tried, but mixing on them has not been a problem in regards to translation to other systems.
The Active Noise Cancellation is a huge + because I can get down to mixing my music pretty much anywhere without distraction.
Do yourself a favour - demo a pair. …
