Rediscover your music.
Put on the Apple In-Ear Headphones, select your favorite track, and hear musical details you never knew existed. It's almost like you're experiencing your music for the first time.
Two drivers in each earpiece.
Each earpiece contains two separate high-performance drivers — a woofer and a tweeter — resulting in rich, detailed, and accurate sound reproduction and amazing bass response for all types of music.
Impressive sound isolation.
Choose from three sizes of soft, silicone ear tips for a comfortable, stable fit. When inserted in your ear, they create a seal that blocks outside noise so you can get the most from your music.
The control capsule located on the cable of the right earpiece includes a microphone and three buttons. Here's what you can do with this convenient remote*:
- Adjust volume by pressing the + and - buttons.
- Control music and video playback — including play/pause and next/previous — by pressing the centre button.
- Record voice memos on supported devices.
- Answer and end calls.
Steel mesh caps for protection.
Stainless steel mesh caps protect the precision acoustic components from dust and debris. You can remove the caps for cleaning or replace them with an extra set that's included in the box.

The trick is to choose the correct ear tip to get a good seal in the ear. If the seal is poor, the bass will be reduced. With a good seal the sound and noise isolation is quite good. …

The buds' shape won't fit in many people's ears due to the design. Better if some sort of form sleeve was used for proper fit.
Because of the improper fit, you have to increase the volume of the iDevice to hear the sound and that there's hardly any bass.
By increasing the volume, one can go deaf over time!
Do yourself a favor and buy a competitor's brand. Better yet, spend More money to buy a Better qualify earphone set!
NO! Dre's, Bose, Skull Candy and other "name brand" units do NOT count as "quality" items but crr@p!
Returned the item to the store.
Went and got a pair of Sony earphones, which isn't that much quality but good enough for basic use and it had better fit and bass.
A decent pair of earphones would cost >$200! Pricey? Yes, but, isn't your ears worth yet? Heck yes! …

Every month or two, I buy a pair of headphones to try out. I've tried many brands from $15 to $150 which include Beats Tour, Bose AE2, Sony MDR-EX210B, Sennheiser CX 880, Audio Technica ATH-CKS55USBK, Klipsch Reference S4, Apple In-Ear headphones, Etymotic Research MC5, and others. Unexpectedly, I find myself coming back to the Apple Headphones after every new brand I try. They are clear, balanced, and reasonably priced.
These headphones do not exaggerate bass and the reverb is minimal. If you're looking for a set with punchy bass that creates a concert-like ambiance, you will be disappointed.
Note: The white rubber/silicone ear tips that originally came with these headphones kept slipping out of my ears. I replaced them with set of rubber tips from a different pair of headphones. Also, make sure to try different sized tips for each ear. For some unexplainable reason I had a hard time accepting that my right ear was a small and my left ear a medium. …

I have them and they are really good, may be the best i ever had in terms of sound quality and comfortability, but i seriously can't believe that MAC will not be aware that the rubber that goes on it needs replacement every several months. The fact that they are not available is really revealing of their intention to make you buy new ones.
