I also do not understand how people can purchase this product without reading the tech specs about it, and then coming on here and complaining about things that it won't do or why it's incompatible with their equipment, etc… when all they have to do is take a minute and read the tech specs. All the answers are there and they would save time and money to find out whether it would work or not with their current setup. This thing is awesome and has saved us from having to purchase another external device to play movies, TV shows, etc… since it produces HD quality for such things!
Just do the research and enjoy, and/or save! Great product Apple…As usual! …

Now, however, I find that when you try this, the video freezes on the projected screen, and will play only on the device itself (while the audio plays out of the Airplay speaker).
Alternatively, you can watch your video up on the screen… but in complete silence! Way to go, Apple! …
