BEST THING EVER !!!
I just bought this adapter for my iPhone 5.
I have the speck candyshell case on, and this adapter fits right in even with the c ase on.
Also, it feels like my iphone charges faster with microusb and this adapter than with the apple charger.

Horrible design.. no reinforcement on the wire to the adapter end part! a few twist and the 4 small wiring can break off! people who are aware about the exchange will keep buying new ones, not knowing they can go to apple n get replacement because of the 1 year warranty when u buy the iphone 5 or ipad.. …

Does the "inverse" product exist - a Lightning female - to micro-USB male connector? This is to charge my Mophie Juice Helium with a Lightning cable.

No. This simply swaps the tail end of the normal iOS sync cable to a standard micro-usb.
