Ordering yet another cable
Well, I am now online ordering yet another cable for my daughter's iphone 5. This is at LEAST the 4th or 5th cord I have ordered Well, I am now online ordering yet another cable for my daughter's iphone 5. This is at LEAST the 4th or 5th cord I have ordered for her in the past year. All of a sudden, they just stop working. If it was some $5 cord that I got at the dollar store, I would understand, but this is an Apple product. NOT what you would expect. . .and for there to be no acknowledgement from Apple that these cords do not work when reviewer after reviewer says the same thing is just so. . .un-apple-like. Usually, they are so responsive. Is anyone listening at Apple? Figure out what is wrong with these cords or compensate the consumers by replacing them for free. …

You pay the price you get the quality
I have bought amazon.com junk lighting connectors I ordered two of them at once and got them in the mail one was broke on arrival I have bought amazon.com junk lighting connectors I ordered two of them at once and got them in the mail one was broke on arrival and soon the other broke. So finally I bought this cable which is the same length as the ones I purchased elsewhere and you can feel the cable difference. Worth the money to have the longer cable.
Downside- apple should send these with the device...
Worth the money …

Much improved over 30-pin connector
I love the new lightning connector. It has this very satisfying 'click' when you connect it in to the port. Charges and syncs just I love the new lightning connector. It has this very satisfying 'click' when you connect it in to the port. Charges and syncs just as fast as before, if not faster. You can insert the cable right side up or upside down and it recognizes both ways. Seems sturdy and high quality, just as you would expect from Apple.
The downside: just as you would expect, you pay a premium for this better quality and better materials. There is also a level of control from Apple over the third-party market, and this has increased the price of third-party accessories as well. Being that these are mass produced on such a high level, I would expect and wish the prices to come down faster and to a more affordable level. This is the reason for one star off.
Overall, great product and the best of the consumer-level quality that is available. …

Great product... I don't know what everyone else's problem is
I love this cable. It's a lower gauge cable so it's a little thicker than the stock one and what I'm guessing everyone who says it I love this cable. It's a lower gauge cable so it's a little thicker than the stock one and what I'm guessing everyone who says it's so fragile does is puts the cable at an extreme angle right before the connector to strip the wiring. Of course it will break if you stress it and yank it out of the socket or the lightning connector but if you're like me and take care of your expensive apple products you will have no problem. With some other long cheap cables that I've bought the charging speed reduced but this cable preserves the original charging speed if you use an apple charger that came with your phone. Don't listen to the uneducated and ignorant reviewers, if you use this cable normally you won't regret your purchase. …

The cord is the worst quality I have ever had from a charger... Can you please go back to the ugly black hard plastic so that it stops being destroyed!
This is the 7th cable I am buying this year alone and it is only July 3rd, 2014!
