Love this case, with one exception.

Had a smart cover, which magnetically attaches to the side and protects only the front, but this is a step up in terms of protection (obviously), and the ability to both hold the iPad and put it into a bag for travel without worrying about the case moving around and scratching up the iPad (the smart cover had metal-to-metal contact with the device, and would pop off at unexpected times). The suede-like interior is excellent, and the exterior manages to look both industrial and elegant at the same time.
The one problem seems to be the "hinge" side, which pulls away from the iPad and has to frequently be realigned in order for the case to close correctly.
I'd love to see Apple follow up with a similar case for the new iPhone due this fall. …

I really like this case. Fits great and protects the iPad well yet still maintains the slim profile.

The "hinge" is terrible, and it doesn't close properly most of the time (the edge of the cover pulls away from the edge of the iPad); sometimes it pulls away to the point where the magnets aren't close enough to put the iPad to sleep.

Good Value - Works as Advertised

This is much better, as it cushions any fall, no matter what part of the iPad hits the hard object. As to fit, it is perfectly snug on my Third Generation - "The New iPad". When you install it, just make sure all four sides of your screen are slightly covered at the edges. That will secure it. You may have to bend the sides of the cover down a bit while you are inserting your iPad, but you will see that it "snaps" into place. There is no looseness as it is a tight fit.
There are no negatives - it is a good product. …

Fantastic protection, but doesn't last forever

It is finally worn out - the rubber sides have split and it no longer stays on the ipad. It has been falling apart for about 3 months now. That's not bad for the only type of case or cover we've ever bothered with. It's held up to being shoved into brief cases, back packs, purses, and knitting bags. We are contemplating the purchase of another one because we like it so much. I only took one star off - because it only survived for 1.5 years. …

One word: terrible
The case do not fits properly, do not stand easily (fall all the time). The borders hurt your hand when you hold for long.
