    Fear not the pink

    Okay. Yes, I am a girl but, I'm not a "girlie girl". I'm independent, strong, mature and not at all concerned with what others think. Sort of a red, black or blue cover you might say. But when I went to the display of beautiful new iPad covers, there hung an almost full rack of pink. All of the strong, independent and socially popular colors had been selected down to just a few. Clearly, tte people have spoken. I chose the beautiful pink. At first I thought I could put it back and pick a a more popular color. Or, pick a color that I actually liked more. But the pink was calling out to my individuality and beside, it really is a very nice shade.

    Cover slips off

    The magnetic cover slips off unless it is fully closed/open in the flat position. I had the cover in the rolled up position and was passing the iPad to a student to show her something and the cover slipped off. iPad dropped out of our hands, dropped a foot and hit the table. iPad screen now smashed up. Student horrified. I'm heartbroken and have a big bill to replace iPad -- I'd only had it a week. I'm ordering a different cover. …More

    The cover doesn't fall off and does its job protecting the screen and propping the iPad up when I need it to. The only problem with this cover is that it gets dirty easily. Through normal use it had accumulated a few black marks from various surfaces, and I guess the cover is thoroughly stained. Try as I might, I can't get the marks off.

    I don't think there's any way to get around this unless you never use the cover or get the black one. Most of the other colors are pretty light and would probably stain easily. Personally, I just don't like my cover looking cruddy. If I could do it all over again, I probably wouldn't get this color.     …More

    So I bought this cover because I needed my IPad to stand up. So I bought it and now I'm in love with it! It is so easy to use and it came in my favorite color. It makes things so much easier to type and it offers more protection. Although it does not provide much protection for the back, I am more worried about the front since it is glass. It hasn't ripped or gotten dirty at all yet and I've had it for quite a while. Love it!!!! …More

    Smart Cover is not compatable with the iPad3!! Don't beleive Apple

    I had an iPad2 with the Smart Cover and loved it. I just bought a new iPad3 and a new smart cover. The cover keeps falling off with little pressure and does not even stay in place if you were to use it as a kickstand. I tried my old smart cover and still had the problem. The reason is that in the new iPad the magnetic strip is about 3 times smaller than the iPad2 making it a weak connection. I extremely advice all not to purchase the Smart Cover for the iPad3 look to logitech, they have it figured out. …More
