    After much research, I decided to purchase the black leather cover for my iPad 2.
    Aesthetics:
    + look and feel of the leather is great
    + metal hing and magnet look great

    Functionality:
    + magnetic attachment is great - easy to remove and re-attach
    + soft liner is great against the screen
    - folds only in one direction (microfiber out)

    Overall, I'd only remove less than one half of one star for it folding the the liner side out. Highly recommended if you need business black!     …More

    It is an innovative screen cover with the magnets turning the Ipad on every time you open and close it. It protects the screen itself fairly well, but it provides no protection for the back of the Ipad. Thankfully you can get the Smart Cover compatible back cover. It also doesn't have strong magnet hinges so you have to be careful not to pick your Ipad up the wrong way. Overall, it is a nice case that you can get in a handful of lively colors. The only complaints over it seem to be user errors, so I would recommend this product other than the fact that it is a little pricey. …More

    Awful Stylish, Awful Stand

    As a screen cover it is okay. As a stand it is awful, terrible and essentially unusable.

    Even on a flat surface when upright the iPad often tips over with slight taps. Even worse, the magnets pop loose necessitating a fumble fest to orient it to correct edge.

    If propped in the wedge shape it collapses at most inconvenient times.

    I might not complain if it had only cost $19.95. I would have just tossed it for its replacement. Now I am stuck with a floppy leather pen pad.     …More

    You can use a variety of things to clean it. I've used lens wipes, microfiber cloths and various other soft cloths like old t-shirts. The glass on the ipad is pretty hard but don't use anything that's abrasive. Stay away from any harsh chemical cleaner. …More

    I've only had my New iPad for about a week and don't intend using a protector. The reason is, I've had my iPhone 4 since launch week, and never had a screen protector on it, and I have zero major scratches, and only very very faint scratches if I clean and hold it to the light. The iPad AFAIK uses the same screen glass as the iPhone. I'd rather feel the smooth pristine glass under my fingers than cheap plastic in hope of preventing a couple of minor scratches after a year or so... …More

    Yes;
    Also, depending on your mix &/or personal iDevices (iPods - iPhones - iPads) one can have logos, text, hybrid text & logo OR any graphic(s) incorporated into ANY cover, albeit an Apple store leather or poly cover through Targus to Kenneth Cole.

    If Apple can't support your request, then research/identify a local or 3rd-party to provide best quality & potential volume cost saving. Good luck, next it's just ovewhelming to select which font, colours, etc. :D
