Couldn't be easier
I took it out of the box, plugged it in & it worked. No problems at all. To add icing to the cake I tried out Air Play - videos fr om my iPad & iPhone. Same result. Hit the A.P. icon & flawless playback of video from both. All wireless.
It gets even better: I have a 1st Generation TV & was not happy about it not being supported any more. So I cursed, spent the 100 bucks & bought the current A. TV. You need a cable called mini display port to Hdmi. This plugs into the Thunderbolt port on your MacB ook Air and then the Hdmi port on your tv. There is one on the apple website by a company called kanex. …
