The Apple Remote gives you total command of your music, photos, videos, and DVDs from anywhere in the room. When you press the Menu button, your desktop fades and the sleek Front Row interface takes its place to give you control over your music in iTunes, your photos in iPhoto, the videos in your Movies folder, and your DVDs.     Does not work with OS X Vista (I mean Lion)

    This was a very nice tool with Snow Leopard, worked great! Since I upgraded to Lion (they removed Front Row), it only controls iTunes - when I say it controls iTunes, I mean you can play a song or video that is already selected but you cannot change the selection. Additionally, you can control the volume; otherwise, it is useless now. …More

    Great remote design, it's a pleasure to hold. That being said it's very small and if you lose it you need to have home sharing initiated already or you won't be able to sink another device to it. A replacement is surprisingly cheap and syncing a different remote is easy but a scream function in the remote that could be activated by an inconspicuous button on the apple tv itself would be brilliant. …More

    I've had this remote for 2 years with no problems and great battery life. I also love the intuitive design.

    Only issue: This all-in-one remote works on multiple Apple products. So, if you're on the computer and using your Apple TV, make sure that the remote is only focused on one of the two, otherwise you're in for a full-blown cacophony.     …More
