Great! But one problem...
I love the fact that my Macbook and iPhone can both take advantage of this feature, and this kit is excellent except for One Thing I love the fact that my Macbook and iPhone can both take advantage of this feature, and this kit is excellent except for One Thing. Why not label the darn plugs? I write this only in hope that they will improve this in the future. Even a letter code would help. Korea and Europe are so similar that you cannot tell them apart. There are slight thickness differences, but it takes some effort to differentiate them. Why not emboss the countries or a letter code that corresponds to the images on the back of the box? …

Great for iPods, iPhones and Apple laptops

Even though it says the thick round adapter is for I traveled to the Netherlands recently and bought the World Travel Adapter Kit. Even though it says the thick round adapter is for Korea, it works just fine in Europe, so you can use both the thick and thin adapters--at least in the Netherlands. All the sockets I tried accepted both adapters without problems. This kit is great--but now I need a good excuse to visit all the other countries I have adapters for.
Tip: Also take along a couple of universal plug adapters (available at Radio Shack, etc.). I took my iMac along with me and was able to use the adapter just fine, without having to buy a European iMac cable from the local Apple store. …

NOT FOR ITALY, NOT FOR iPHONE 5, 5C, 5s, other devices

When I say unsafe, I mean fire hazard and electrocution.
This $39.00 kit also does not contain the Apple Lightning Connector that is required for the iPhone 5, 5C, and 5S, iPod Touch, iPod Nano, iPad Mini, etc. Apple also gladly sold me the required Lightning to 30-pin Adapters for an additional $29.00 ea. more.
Also Beware: Apple has a VERY short 14 calendar day return policy: If you are like many that purchase a power adapter shortly before traveling, your length of travel may prevent you from being allowed to return products to Apple, after you find out that it does not work. …

I even as A couple things: First, the kit doesn't come with a lighting cable, so Apple just gave (charged) me for a useless cable. I even asked the store associate that helped with the product if it came with a lighting cable and he said "yes." Apple needs to train their store associates better. Second, they could have condensed the packaging of the plugs into a single USB adapter. Now I have multiple plugs that could easily get lost. …

I was given this as a gift. I was surprised to find that it included a USD-to-30 pin cable rather than a USB-to-Lightning cable. I was given this as a gift. I was surprised to find that it included a USD-to-30 pin cable rather than a USB-to-Lightning cable. I assumed that the giver had purchased it last year and waited to give it to me. Then I checked online and was astonished to find that Apple is still selling these with obsolete cables. Like many long-time Apple users, I have a handful of USB-to-30 pin cables for which I no longer have any use. An extra USB-to-Lightning cable would have been handy. …
