Why not label the darn plugs? I write this only in hope that they will improve this in the future. Even a letter code would help. Korea and Europe are so similar that you cannot tell them apart. There are slight thickness differences, but it takes some effort to differentiate them. Why not emboss the countries or a letter code that corresponds to the images on the back of the box?

Even though it says the thick round adapter is for Korea, it works just fine in Europe, so you can use both the thick and thin adapters--at least in the Netherlands. All the sockets I tried accepted both adapters without problems. This kit is great--but now I need a good excuse to visit all the other countries I have adapters for.

Tip: Also take along a couple of universal plug adapters (available at Radio Shack, etc.). I took my iMac along with me and was able to use the adapter just fine, without having to buy a European iMac cable from the local Apple store.

Sadly, this kit was of no use in South Africa which uses a different plug configuration than any other country. Some places had additional European plugs so I was able to use the European converter but not everywhere.

Why not update this product to include a lightning USB cable? Or even produce another kit to include a lightning USB cable, maybe Why not update this product to include a lightning USB cable? Or even produce another kit to include a lightning USB cable, maybe even a kit that has a short USB cable and a much longer one to give the traveler options. And please engrave the plugs with a number or label what countries they can be used in. This add-on kit would be perfect except without these things make it more cumbersome than buying plug adaptors and cables from a third parties. It would be much nicer to know it's compatible and approved by Apple if it's made by Apple.

While visiting the Apple store I looked at the box and it identifies which adapters go with each regions, but when it comes to Continental Europe and Korea, here the confusion sets in for me.
The two similar adapters are depicted with barely discernible prong thicknesses. Even when the package is opened there is no clear way to tell Central Europe and Korea apart. It becomes clearer when you open the provided paper documentation and turn to page 4 that Apple clearly state the "round thicker pins" are for Korea and the "round thin pins" are for Central Europe. There is similar confusion with the North America and China bladed prong; which again is clearly explained on page 4 of the documentation. "...blades w/out holes" for China and "...blades w/holes", for North America.

I'll be taking a picture of page 4 and keeping it in the cloud for reference. I'll also be placing some of distinguishing mark on the Central Europe prong with a corresponding mark on the exterior box picture. The two pics along with markings will help me remember which one I need to take.

I've mentioned the confusion to the Apple store staff and I also hope Apple will make easily recognizable changes or markings for the future product cycles.

As a side note, the Kit domes with the older style 30 pin adapter; take note if you have a newer iDevice. When we return from our travels I'll update of there are any product failures.
