Simply insert an iPod nano dock adapter into the Universal Dock, then plug in your iPod nano. When you want to connect another iPod or an iPhone to the Universal Dock, pop out the iPod nano dock adapter and insert a different one.

Like the other review -- this fits perfectly into my JBL on stage IIIp but looks incredibly dorky being bright white compared with…Read more the black speaker and grey Nano.

This adaptor came with my 4G iPod Nano and fits neatly into the top of my Sony hifi... so far so good....however my stereo and iPo…Read mored are both BLACK, the adaptor is bright WHITE.
Result: Looks ridiculous.
I suggest Apple produce this item in colours that match the iPods (or at least add a black and silver option to the range)
