$30 dollars? - C'mon...
Written by CC from PORTLAND

Yes, it is small (read: "cool," easy to lose), and it does what it is supposed to do. But do they really have to price this at $30 American dollars when it probably costs 30 pesos to make? …More

Apple USB Power Adapter
OK product, inaccurate description.
Written by JL from Brooklyn

The best thing I can say about it is that it is nice and compact. However the cable provided with it is much too short. Also, would it kill Apple to mention the power specs and requirements of the adapter somewhere on the product page!? I'd go a step further and say it's extremely irresponsible not to. If you look closely at the tiny print on the face of the unit, you'll see that the adapter will work with an input voltage of 100-240 volts. This means you do NOT have to buy a voltage converter to use the charger in foreign countries although you may need an adapter to fit the type of electrical socket used. …More

Apple USB Power Adapter
It works....
Written by JL from Magnolia
Jul 15, 2008
the new design is beautiful. it would be cooler if the prongs folded up like previous power adapters, but it is small and compact non-the-less. i give it 3 stars due to the fact that this is $30. that is a little bit over priced, especially since i will have to buy another one to keep in my car so i don't ever forget a charger. i am in need of a charger so badly due to the fact apple's new phone wont charge in my car as for a lot of other charging devices. …More

Pretty good, old one was better.
Written by MD from Hesperia

I got this one a couple of days ago and I have to say the older one is better. I got the bigger white one for Easter a couple of years ago and it has withstood a lot of travel and abuse. My favorite feature of the older one is the prongs folding in so they don't break off during travel, and it worries me, since the prongs on the new one don't fold, that they might break off when I'm traveling and its bouncing around my duffel bag.
Overall, I would recommend this one, simply because you can't get the other one anymore, and it does do its job. …More1 of 1 people found this useful

The first one I had was too loose in all the electrical outlets I tried and would not charge my iPhone. I do give Apple 5 stars in customer support though. With a few clicks of a mouse the new one was on it's way. …More

Written by JC from Belleville

After being charged a couple of minutes, my 3GS always pops up "Charge not unsupported with this accessory", and 3GS stops charge. Reconnect 3GS with it, it starts charge, but repeats this message and stops again in a while. 3GS can only gets 4~5% charge every time. My 3GS is running 3.1.2 firmware. …More
