DON'T BE MISLED BY THE INACCURATE REVIEW - ADAPTER WORKS WITH ALL!!

The other reviewer had a problem adjusting the resolution on his machine to match his plasma display. THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE ADAPTER! The adapter does NOT affect the display resolution! It has no processor on board of any kind, it is a simple wire that acts as a conduit between the machine and the display. ANY PROBLEMS THAT THE REVIEWER WAS HAVING WAS WITH THE DISPLAY SETTINGS, AND HAS *NOTHING* TO DO WITH THE ADAPTER. This is a great adapter and has worked extremely well for me for many years with many different machines and displays. Again, don't be misled by an uninformed review. The adapter does what it's supposed to do: transmits between the machine and the display (it can't adjust your display for you, or give you a tutorial on how to do it:). More

Works for all the VGA-only devices we've tried

Works for us with all the digital projectors we've come across. However, whenever possible, use Apple's Micro-DVI to DVI adapter instead. Most higher-end monitors have a DVI input in addition to (or instead of!) a VGA input, and using the DVI avoids converting to analog and then back, and gives less chance for sync issues. More

I bought this product for my macbook to use for some projects and presentation. I have used this product many times and it has not failed me yet. It is well worth the $20. I would recommend this product to anyone. The other guy who reviewed this just didn't adjust their contrast. More
