I replaced my original apple keyboard with the new one for my Mac Pro since the original did not have a crisp enough key stroke...it seemed "mushy" sometimes...but now....amazing!

Very thin and lite weight. The new key design has a great feel and very large keys so you don't make many mistakes.

THE ONE PROBLEM I HAVE WITH IT IS the two usb ports will not support an ipod. I have the video Ipod and I get a warning that the USB power is too low to power the attached device. I bought this key board to clear away clutter on my desk and hopefully eliminate a few cords. Unfortunately its not true and I was disappointed. I am very much an apple fan but the low USB ports were a not as advertised on the website.

Took a little while to get the feel of it, but now it's second-nature. Once problem...Boot Camp. This little baby uses Function keys for audio up and down and brightness, and Vista really didn't like it. Sadly, I'm going to have to keep using my old keyboard until they update BootCamp to work with this new keyboard. That's why I'm only giving three stars. Otherwise, it'd be a full FIVE, baby!

I would recommend going with a mechanical keyboard instead since they give you a nice satisfying tactile feel whenever you press down a key.

The second one lasted less that six months. I bought a mini with a fusion drive, so everything is open on my desktop in seconds, but then I spend two or three minutes trying to get this stupid keyboard to work. The latest problem is in the USB connector. It is cheap and flimsy and does't fit tightly. I was initially able to shift to different slots to finally get one to work, but today none of them worked. Fortunately, I had a wireless keyboard available and already set up. When the previous one failed, I couldn't log into my computer to set up the wireless keyboard, so I ended up borrowing a Windows keyboard from a colleague. I later found by testing the key function with a word processing program that some keys were producing two different characters with each keystroke. Complete junk. I bought this because I want the number pad and had had trouble on a regular basis with my wireless keyboards being able to connect on startup. I've been solely a Mac user for more than 20 years. I love the computers, but the peripherals are just increasingly bad.

I loved this keyboard from the first touch. I have typed professionally doing medical transcription since 1975. I love the touch I loved this keyboard from the first touch. I have typed professionally doing medical transcription since 1975. I love the touch. It is extremely quiet. I have long gel fingernails and I have not scratched or dented these keys. I have literally worn off the letters on many other keyboards. I will never use anything but this one! It is clean and sleek, and hands down the best I have ever used.
