You can install it yourself, it is relatively easy to do so. However, if you buy it from Mac you can take it to a Mac store and they will walk you through the process. Or you can buy it from a different vender (usually cheaper too), but the RAM will not be under your warranty with Mac products and they will not help you install them. But luckily there is youtube which will give you a tutorial by simply searching Mac Ram Install, and your model. …More
