Don't know about what mouse and Keyboard but the newest is 10.6.2 Snow Leopard and if you wish to get it you must buy the mac box pack that includes Snow lepoard, iLife 09 and iWorks 09... and install is a breeze just read the documents inclosed. …More

It depends on if you have an Intel Mac or not. All Macs purchased in 2007 or newer have an Intel chip. If you're running a Powerbook, iBook, or another PowerPC Mac, you're out of luck. …More
