This power adapter says right on it and in the manual that it takes 100-240V 50/60 Hz, so it can be used anywhere in the world. Every power adapter Apple has made for many years works this way. I don't know why another reviewer here thinks it does not, all you need is a physical plug adapter. More

    Are you serious?

I can't believe people have even reviewed this. It's the only power supply for the Mac Mini. All it does is supply power. 'Nuff said. And to the guy that complained about the price: it's a high quality piece of equipment, it's worth the money. I have never seen a PC laptop adapter for under $30, and all of them are garbage. It's a no brainer. More

    ONLY works on US current

    Written by PB from Hollywood

I bought a Mac Mini to use overseas, but unlike nearly all other computer power supplies, this one ONLY works on US 110/120v current, not on 220/240v. No Apple stores in my country, so have to run the Mini off a transformer. Not a very elegant solution. Apparently there is no way to buy a 220v power supply from Apple US and bring it next trip home. Power Supply Voltage Rating is Different from Manual

    Written by DW from APO

    Nov 4, 2009

I recently purchased an Mini and it came with a psu rated at Input: AC 100-120V 50/60 Hz 2.0A. Why Apple would pack a power supply without 240V support is beyond me... every other computer I've ever owned had 100-240V support. This is ridiculous. More

    110-240 Volts and Watts

Written by ES from New York

    Hi everyone,

Don't confuse Watts with Volts. Because this adaptor consumes 110 Watts, it misleads people in International countries with 110 Volts. This adaptor is 110 Watts but supports 110-240 Volts input.

I bought my sister a macmini and the adaptor was the same as this one, a 110V. I bit the bullet and plugged in the macmini to the outlet here in Istanbul, Turkey, and it works like a charm for the past 3 months, no funny smells, no mishaps.

I think people are mislead by the Watt with Volts, this adaptor is definitely 110-240 Volt capable and consumes 110 Watts, that's what the 110 is for... FYI
