    For an Apple-logoed product, this case is pretty disappointing for several reasons:

    1. Because of the snug fit, It's a struggle to put your iPad inside and even harder to pull it out without swearing out loud. You'll find this routine gets old really fast. Once inside, however, your iPad seems reasonably safe.

    2. Once in the case, you can't use either of Apple's docks. This would seem like a deal breaker until you realize how useless Apple's docks are anyway, because they're not at all usable in landscape orientation.

    3. The case's material always looks filthy, immediately attracting and showing dust, scuffs and fingerprints. Leather would have been more appropriate.

    4. Using it as a wobbly stand is just inviting disaster. Mine has fallen off my nightstand 3 times already after just pushing the Home button or accidentally pulling my headphone cord. That's because the base which the case forms is rounded, not flat. So your iPad will barely want to stand up and the slighted bump will send it falling flat on its screen.

    5. Holding the iPad while in this case is very awkward, because the back flap is always in your way and is not comfortable in your hand. Tucking the flap under the tab to form the stand makes it even harder to hold, but at least it props it up at a better angle on your lap or desktop for viewing or typing.     …More

    This is a great case. I don't understand why the bad reviews. If you go iPad Case shopping you will NOT find anything close to this. I didn't want to have my iPad unprotected while I waited for this case to ship, so I bought a rubber case from Incase... that was the real disappointment (very heavy and it gets dirty like crazy).
    Today I got the Apple case and was very happy to see how slim and protective it is. I also don't understand why the review saying it was a struggle to insert the iPad. It is VERY EASY to put it in and out... no struggle at all. The iPad is well protected and the stand is firm and great to display photos or the iQuarium app.
    If you're looking for protection, display, and manageability this is the case to buy.

    The case works very well for typing, it props the iPad at about a 30 degree angle. The portrait mode is not very stable, and I don't use it. The rubber is a little uneven when in portrait mode and you really have to adjust it to get the iPad to not look crooked.

    The outside material is a rubber that gets dirty pretty easily. Overall, I still would recommend it.     …More

    My spouse replaced my original with a new one this gifting season and it was like getting a brand new iPad. Perhaps even better. Does everything the others do but only better (I tried). Total protection, functionality, and very thin for slipping into my satchel across town or on long trips. Includes a new magic cloth which keeps the screen always clean and fresh...     I don't know if many will read this since the top of the line iPad I bought last year is now treated by Apple and it retailers like an ancient device...my only pet peeve about Apple. However, the case while very protective and has a nice feel to it, I finally took it off. The iPad is beautifully designed and I think covering it is like putting a paper bag over a piece of art. Enjoy the sleek design and enjoy the modern look of the iPad in the nude. For these reasons, I cannot recommend this cas because it covers every inch of the ipad. …More

    I am From Sri Lanka I am using this i Pad case for the last 5 months. Let me tell you no product will last for ever so where the age is concern at-least for 2 to 3 years this case will survive. The case is designed in a such way its very much comfortable to the user and very much user friendly when you compare with the third party cases available in the Market.
