BOOM Swimmer Works Great

It was easy to set up and pair with my iPhone, and worked as expected out of the box. Today, I used it on my boat, listening to iTunes for 5 hours without a problem. A great product, and really simple to use. I particularly like that the unit verbally confirms when it's been turned on or turned off -- a nice touch for technologically challenged senior citizens like me. And, it's loud enough. …

It's really loud for its small stature. The tail end part is pretty neat; I can attach it to my bicycle and my paddleboard.
I have no worries about taking it to the beach because of the water/dust proof feature. Also, for $60, even if it did somehow break while I was at the beach, I wouldn't be too heartbroken because it's not as expensive as other portable speakers.
For the price point, the wireless feature, the loud sound, and the cool design, I give this product five stars! I love it! It's the perfect on the go, outdoors speaker. …

Swimmer may not be the best description
I love my UE BOOM and was very hopeful this product would compare....the sound is great....I took it SUPing and that is where the I love my UE BOOM and was very hopeful this product would compare....the sound is great....I took it SUPing and that is where the "fun" began....I used the suction cup to stick it to my board, which was great until I was in swell and it got wet....I had to crawl to the front of my board multiple times to detach, shake it out and re-attach it so I could resume listening to music. Granted, it does seem to be extremely waterproof...it went under at least a few times when I was hit by large surf, but the water gets stuck in the speaker and muffles the sound. Today I will try it in another location...on my paddle, or....maybe the back of the board...somewhere less prone to soaking. I will update after I 'test the waters....' :) …

Great little dagger!!!
I just purchased this speaker. The associate recommended this one over the one I originally was going to purchase, which I saved $ I just purchased this speaker. The associate recommended this one over the one I originally was going to purchase, which I saved $50. Depends on your use of speaker, I just wanted to enhance the volume of my IPad, use it in the shower, in the garage, at the park when I take a break from riding my bicycle - which I did all that today. I'm floored of how excellent the music sounds. It's perfect and doesn't bother the "neighbor"(figure of speech).
If you're looking for hi-def., home theatre, buy a huge speaker; but for the purpose of just listening crisp, clear, and loud enough...... this is the best buy for its price. I'm planning on purchasing one for my wife soon …
