Overall near perfect while listening to music however there is an issue with the audio lip sync when watching videos on any of my Apple products (i.e. iPhone, iPad, MacBook etc..) This appears to be an Apple specific Bluetooth issue with no current fix.

They don't fall off because of the over the ear hook design. But at this price range I was expecting them to be really comfortable as well. The buds are causing me little ear irritation, may not be the case with everyone as my skin is more sensitive. Also the hanging cable sticks to my skin when I move my neck left or right to watch for traffic when running, so when I move my neck, because of sticking cable there is drag tension, which irritates me. I wish they provided a clip on the cable that one can hook on the shirt while keeping the cable either on front or over the neck, which will possibly avoid the drag tension. They are very close to the best wireless headset available in the market.

  • Great Earphones! A huge improvement for Beats.

I g I have used many pairs of Beats by Dr. Dre in the past and had a mediocre experience. Everything from earphones to Beats Pros. I got my hands on this pair and was a bit skeptical at first. I was never a fan of these types of earphones. Then I put these earphones on. THEY ARE FANTASTIC! You might be hearing that Beats sound quality has been improved with their new products, THIS IS MORE THAN TRUE. The new sound quality on these Beats by Dr. Dre Powerbeats2 are great! Make sure to follow the instructions on how to apply the earphones to your ear and try the different custom buds that come with it to find that perfect fit. It is important to do both of these to achieve the best sound quality! I was throughly impressed with the battery life and connectivity as well. The box says 6 hours of playback on a single charge and I found this to be about accurate. These wireless earphones also stay on my ears very well and I would consider myself to have fairly normal shaped ears. OVERALL: A GREAT PAIR OF EARPHONES! They are a little pricey but, in my opinion, worth almost every penny.

After owning a pair of the original powerbeats and having one side quit working after about 15 months of use I am hoping these hold up longer. Given the cost of these headphones I wish they had lifetime warranty. 4 stars for now. I will post another review after 1 year if they are still working, I'll give them 5 stars.

As a musician and a fitness buff, having a good pair of headphones ensures better performance in the gym.

I gave the Pump HD's a try and found that they had a really nice fit, no bothersome cord slack while moving your head around, but the quality of the sound was rather lacking. Apple buds were even a step up which is highly disappointing considering the price difference between the two. I am more particular about sound so these were a no go for me because I knew I would be more focused on the headphones than my workout. Though if you're lenient to the quality, these would be the better way to go for price. Sound wasn't awful, it was just a bit flat and not as exciting as what the Powerbeats2 had to offer. Returned the Pump HD's and bit the bullet for the beats.

First and foremost, the sound quality is great. If you have issues with low bass, make sure to adjust the ear buds to fit your ears properly, it makes a world of difference. Secondly, one of the only issues - annoyances, rather - would be the slack of cord that hangs behind your neck. With all of the extra cord and the rubber texture of it, it was uncomfortable to turn my head because it sticks to you and it simply felt like I was inhibited from moving freely. My simple solution for this was to just tuck the cord underneath my hat and the problem was easily solved. With the cord tucked away, I could move freely and they had a comfortable fit. Lastly, n terms of connection, I only have an issue with Bluetooth when I disappear behind a wall and was about 20 feet away. Same room, no problem.

Overall, I sadly give them 3 stars. Sound quality is fantastic, crisp and bright with nice bass, but for the price that you pay for the headphones, you would obviously expect the headphones to work perfectly. In the viewing department, this is where the headphones failed with the syncing issue. If you're more of an audiophile, these are great and I would recommend them, but if you aren't picky, I'd recommend going with the Pump HD's.
