Feel your music
The Beats Acoustic Engine gives you an intimate, real encounter with your music. Thanks to Beats' signature DSP software delivers the exact emotional experience that Dr. Dre, Jimmy Iovine, and some of the music industry's greatest rock, hip-hop, pop, electronic, and R&B producers want you to feel.
Put the world on mute
Silence the noise from your daily commute or the drama from your loud neighbors with Beats' no-compromise dual-mode Adaptive Noise Canceling (ANC). When you're listening to music, ANC automatically strikes a balance between your audio and the world outside. And if you want to use the headphone just to cancel external noise, ANC-only mode automatically increases the level of noise cancellation to make things even quieter.

The 30 foot bluetooth range is great, as I never experienced a dropped connection or static as I moved 15-25 feet away from my iPhone 5s.
I love the black matte finish. It's stylish and fashionable at the same time, yet subtle enough to wear in a corporate environment, if desired. They have a slimmer profile, are lighter and sleeker than the previous generation; thus, you won't feel uncomfortable wearing these as your main everyday headphones.
These have replaced my B&W and Klipsch headphones. I'm a fan! Great purchase. …

I'm not a fan boy, I tried (& quickly returned) the original Beats Studio & Beats Executive as they were both garbage from an audio perspective.
Sorry so called audiophiles - I tried B&W P7 & Sennheiser Momentum Over Ears but for my predominantly Hip Hop, R&B & Reggae library the Beats are clearly the superior audio option.
They're far from neutral sounding, the bass is heavy but it's controlled & doesn't distort at high volume. The highs are bright while the mid range is surprisingly clear.
Add to that the wireless function & the 12 - 20 hour rechargeable battery & it was an easy win.
Picked mine up in store in the UK although strangely they're still not on the Apple UK online store? …

Can do better
Probably not worth the price. The sound quality is average, comparable to my $20 Sony, and beat by all of my Bose, Klipsch, and h Probably not worth the price. The sound quality is average, comparable to my $20 Sony, and beat by all of my Bose, Klipsch, and high end Sony headphones. My wife accuses me of having a ear/headphone fetish, I have many. I do like the wireless feature, and that is the whole reason I own a set. My in ear Bose quiet comfort 20i blow these away both for sound quality and for noise cancellation. When I turn on the Bose set, the sound around me disappears. I have a Bose over the ear without noise cancellation, and the Studio headphones compare to these for noise, but Bose sound is superior. When I mow the lawn, or ride in a plane, I can't use the Beats Studio, as they don't work well enough unless I have the sound turned up VERY LOUD. I am using my Bose in ear noise canceling set, which work great for these times. If you are looking for noise cancellation, consider Bose which are far superior and cheaper, although do not come wireless. I would choose the Bose Quiet Comfort 15 noise canceling over the ear headphones if I had to buy again. Perks for Beats are better than others, being wireless and having a rechargeable battery. Lastly, the Beats are comfortable, but I think Bose and Sony are slightly better here too. Beats are quality built and sturdy, better than Bose or Sony. Buttons easy to use. …

Great headphones but one major drawback
I purchased these headphones in February and while I love the sound and comfort I have found that when using with iOS devices the I purchased these headphones in February and while I love the sound and comfort I have found that when using with iOS devices the sound is not in sync with the screen when using wireless. This occurs for both films and games. I have tried a bluetooth speaker and headphones with the same iPad and iPhone and there is no issue. I have contacted beats and they just told me "thanks for your feedback". The issue does not occur with my iMac. …
