    The music moves with you

With the Beats by Dr. Dre Studio Wireless over-ear headphones the music on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod can truly roam free. The Bluetooth stays connected up to 30 feet away so you easily move about and keep the music going. Take calls, skip songs, and change the volume right from the headphone.

    Feel your music

The Beats Acoustic Engine gives you an intimate, real encounter with your music. Thanks to Beats' signature DSP software delivers the exact emotional experience that Dr. Dre, Jimmy Iovine, and some of the music industry's greatest rock, hip-hop, pop, electronic, and R&B producers want you to feel.

    Put the world on mute

Silence the noise from your daily commute or the drama from your loud neighbors with Beats' no-compromise dual-mode Adaptive Noise Canceling (ANC). When you're listening to music, ANC automatically strikes a balance between your audio and the world outside. And if you want to use the headphone just to cancel external noise, ANC-only mode automatically increases the level of noise cancellation to make things even quieter.

    What batteries?

The built-in rechargeable battery that lasts 12 hours when using wirelessly and 20 hours when you do decide to plug in—so you can be sure your vibe keeps going. With the Battery Fuel Gauge you can see at a glance how much juice is available. Plus, you can charge the new Studio via standard micro USB adapter almost anywhere.

    Lighter, stronger, and more comfortable

When Beats re-imagined these legendary headphones, they designed it like a beautiful sports car and made disciplined choices. They streamlined the new Beats Studio with fast curves, smooth surfaces, and no visible screws. It now weighs less than the original and has a lighter, stronger, and more comfortable headband. The ear cups are softer and there's an ergonomic bellow to create a flexible, custom fit for every head shape, so you can keep your music all to yourself.

I'm not a fan boy, I tried (& quickly returned) the original Beats Studio & Beats Executive as they were both garbage from an audio perspective.

Sorry so called audiophiles - I tried B&W P7 & Sennheiser Momentum Over Ears but for my predominantly Hip Hop, R&B & Reggae library the Beats are clearly the superior audio option.

They're far from neutral sounding, the bass is heavy but it's controlled & doesn't distort at high volume. The highs are bright while the mid range is surprisingly clear.
Add to that the wireless function & the 12 - 20 hour rechargeable battery & it was an easy win.

Picked mine up in store in the UK although strangely they're still not on the Apple UK online store?

The 30 foot bluetooth range is great, as I never experienced a dropped connection or static as I moved 15-25 feet away from my iPhone 5s.

I love the black matte finish. It's stylish and fashionable at the same time, yet subtle enough to wear in a corporate environment, if desired. They have a slimmer profile, are lighter and sleeker than the previous generation; thus, you won't feel uncomfortable wearing these as your main everyday headphones.

These have replaced my B&W and Klipsch headphones. I'm a fan! Great purchase.

These headphones are an excellent product, which happen to be overpriced. They're well-built, sound pretty good, and are overall very enjoyable to use. The fact that they're wireless is a huge feature for me, and their rechargeable battery lasts for quite a while. But the audio quality is merely OK (not bad, but not excellent).

If you're very concerned about audio quality, do not buy Bluetooth headphones. End of story. The audio through these (when in wireless mode, as opposed to using a cable) is similar to that of much cheaper headphones. When you plug them in with a cable, it's better -- but still comparable to headphones that are half the price.

If you're fine with a decent-sounding headphone, want them to look nice, and want to go wireless... then I'd recommend these. However, if you're even remotely concerned with price-to-audio-quality ratio, then you're better off finding another pair.

These headphones sound great, and they're comfortable, and I love them, but I may still have to return them because of an unfortun These headphones sound great, and they're comfortable, and I love them, but I may still have to return them because of an unfortunate problem with the pause function. They have controls built in for pause/play, volume, and next track or previous track, and I have found that the controls work well with the standard music app on the iPhone. Unfortunately, the pause function does not work consistently across apps. For example, when I am listening to an audiobook with the Audible app, pressing the pause button has no effect; to pause the book I have to pull out the phone and hit pause manually. The same is true with any audio or video played through the Facebook app. But it seems to be an app-by-app problem, and it's not at all predictable. For example, the pause function works with videos played in Safari, but not with videos played in Chrome. I've only had the headphones about 36 hours and I haven't tested every app, but so far I've determined that the pause function works with Pandora, Ted, and Safari, but not with Audible, Facebook, or Chrome.

I've read that there is a (possibly related?) problem with invoking Siri--pressing and holding the pause button on the headphones is used for pairing, so it doesn't call up Siri the way it does on many other Bluetooth devices. Apparently there are no plans to address this known issue, which seems incredible to me. I hope that changes, because I like the headphones and I don't really want to invoke my 14-day return rights, but the simple fact is that I use both Audible and Siri quite a bit, and I can't justify spending $379 for these headphones if they don't work as well with my particular apps as the headphones that sell for $250 less.
