Usually I end up going through both films in the two-pack on a single try. Today, I bought the Belkin IRIS anti-glare film that includes the easy install frame and it worked perfectly. It took two minutes to clean the iPhone well and less than 1 minute to install the film in perfect alignment. And I still have the second film (and frame) to use at a later time. Thanks for this upgrade.

Sad to see negative reviews by people who apparently did not have the patience to take the time to figure it out. I have never been happy with an iPhone protective film until now. I'm on my 4th iPhone and this I'd the first time I have been able to attach the film in a way where there are no bubbles, no mis-alignment, and you cannot even tell there is film on the iPhone. The instructions are diagrammatic and somewhat cryptic, but, if you take the time, you will be pleased with the results. (The frame helps get the film aligned perfectly and is then discarded).

Very easy to apply, completely bubble free. When I pulled back the first panel it looked like some big air bubbles were trapped. Very easy to apply, completely bubble free. When I pulled back the first panel it looked like some big air bubbles were trapped. They were actually between the second layer of disposable application film and the protective film. When the green application frame was removed the protective film was so flawless it did not look like there was anything on the screen. Just applied it so I can't rate its long term performance.

However the number tabs on the film are cheap paper and ripped up and left paper and glue residue on the both of my films. All attempts to use class cleaner and rubbing alcohol further ruined both of my films and both films needed up in the trash. These tabs need to be made of high quality plastic with a non-glue stick. This ruined both of my films and a total waste of money.

Had no bubble or Dust underneath my screen protector because I followed the steps as directed... I would totally recommend this product to anyone who don't wanna waste money on other screen protectors. I would recomend whoever buy this product , to take the time to clean the screen and get all the DUST out before applying the product to the iPhone. IF you follow each step as directed, your end result should be a positive one. I was hesistant at first, but the price was good and it came with two film. One thing I didn't like was that, the sticker that came to get the dust off the iPhone, it seemed like the glue on the sticker was dried out or something, because when I peeled it off, it didn't come off. It was a defective dust film sticker thing that I got when I purchase the product. But luckily I had tape laying around so I got that instead. But I would totally recommend this product to people who don't wanna waste their money on other screen protectors. GET THIS PRODUCT AND FOLLOW EACH STEP AS DIRECTED! I'm giving it 4 Full Star because of the Sticker Dust Removal being defective.

  • Terrible -- why is this is the Apple Store's only option?

It was the only non-"privacy" screen protec I bought the Belkin Iris for iPhone 5 / 5s several months ago at my local Apple Store. It was the only non-"privacy" screen protector they carried, so I thought it would be decent... but it was not. It claims to be anti-glare, but I found it to be about as susceptible to glare as an unprotected screen. Worse, however, the protector scratched very easily -- much more so than similar products I've had for my previous iPhones.

It stayed bubble-free for several months, but eventually spontaneously developed a set of bubbles about an inch from the edge of the screen that refused to go away, via squeegee or anything else I tried. When the scratches and bubbles became too much and I finally decided to replace it with a different screen protector, it left about two-thirds of my screen covered in a sticky residue after I peeled it off -- again, something I've never seen a screen protector do over the span of six years and four models of iPhone.

Terrible. Not recommended. Apple should stop selling these.
