The Bowers & Wilkins P7 over-ear headphones saturate you with sound, while providing the luxurious comfort and superb construction you expect from B&W.
Complete audio immersion
Bowers & Wilkins technological improvements ensure that sound performance is a revelation. Bass is tighter, vocals are more defined, and there's a remarkable sense of space, balance, and clarity across the whole frequency range. In addition, the over-ear design and snugly fitting ear pads make P7 the most immersive headphones yet from B&W.
Drive unit design
Because of its extra internal volume, the P7's drive unit offers a more precise, controlled movement—and a dramatic improvement in sound quality.
Dual-cavity ear pads
The dual-cavity cushion design allows the pads to mold to the contours of your head. It maintains a consistent volume of air between the drive unit and the surface of your ear at both sides of the head. This means enhanced stereo imaging and optimized sound for every listener.
- Loudspeaker-inspired drive unit design brings genuine Hi-Fi sound performance to headphones
- Over-ear design and snug-fitting ear pads for superior comfort and noise-isolation
- "Sunglass" fold capability for easy storage in the carry case
- Stainless steel, aluminum, and genuine sheepskin leather for quality, fit, and feel
Did you notice?Advanced technology delivers tighter bass, more-defined vocals, and an astonishing sense of space.

Pure Luxury & Great Sound!

I purchased mine at my local Apple Store a week ago have have been enjoying them ever since. After a few hours of break-in they sound even better.
The leather ear cups are very comfortable, people that have medium-large ears might want to try them on to make sure your ears fit comfortably in the ear cups.
I own the B&W P5 headphones and can attest that the P7 beats them for sound and comfort. However, that is at the expense of portability due to the larger size of the P7 when compared to the P3 and P5. B&W supplies a very nice case in which to transport these beauties in.
The P7 works great with my iPhone 5 and iPad2. They don't need a separate headphone amplifier or DAC. But the are versatile as they scale up in sound when I put them to use with me desktop headphone amplifier and DAC (with an iMac as the sound source). I have not switched out the iPhone cable to the straight cable for theses sessions. A purist would, so it is nice that B&W supplies a second cable.
Over on Head-Fi (a headphone enthusiast site) there are a lot of comparisons to the Sennheiser Momentum and a few other portables. The comments and reviews there are positive.
The only con for these headphones are the cost. However, they are worth it if you enjoy beautifully made headphones that sound great. …

Started with Beats headphones and ended up here with these amazing P7's!

Physical appearance: I know this is subjective. I'm a 27 year old guy. I feel like they are not exactly marketed towards my demographic but someone in their 40's. The quality is excellent though. The leather is high quality and they leave me feeling like they will last for several years.
Feel: Wearing them is really interesting. As I looked at them, I thought that there was no way that they could feel comfortable. Wow was I wrong. The ear cushions fit perfect. My ears don't touch inside of the ear cups and overall they feel light while wearing. I think because they are new they are still kind of squeezing my head a little.
Sounds: You seriously need to experience this for yourself with a lossless music file. I can't even touch my other headphones now. Some of the ones that I tried and felt that were inferior were as follows: PSB M4U 2, Bose QC 15, V Moda M100, and Denon 600. Also worth noting that the sound isolation is very good.
Price point: I feel that these sit right around where they belong.
Overall Impression: I think these things are great. I'm definitely a B&W fan now. Lol, never thought I'd say that. Try these things, you won't regret it. …

There is quite a sticker shock; however, once you get past that shock, you start to love this pair of headphones.
In comparison to the Beats Studio Wireless, bass is much cleaner, less of a "oomph" feeling. Bass is not as pronounced as in Beats, but it is incredibly prominent and clean.
Music sounds incredibly clear and precise.
Incredibly comfortable fit. I wear glasses and as with many over-ear headphones, it will cause a little bit of pressure as the frames push against your head. Besides this issue, the earpads are incredibly comfortable. I was able to wear this pair of headphones for hours at a time without much pain.
The lack of plastic and the usage of metal with leather gives this headphone an incredibly premium feel that would feels closer to a $400 headphone compared to a pair of plastic Beats. The over-ear design by B&W allows this headphone to have passive noise cancellation.
Give these headphones couple days to burn it in and they will sound better.
Lovely pair of headphones, would recommend. …

The performance of this product is amazing - the sounds come alive and clear and it also does a very good job of noise reduction. The headsets also extremely comfortable - almost like wearing smooth leather gloves. Everything about this product is first rate: construction, design and sound quality.

P5s sound good and are quite comfortable - much more so than I think they look as the leather is very accommodating on the ear. However, having been back and forth between these two, I can tell you that the P7 is a much more involving experience with not just a broader frequency range - warm deep bass, but in keeping with the music, not overdriven, and yet the sound stage for the higher frequencies is simply delightful and seems to offer better separation and clarity that the P5.
