An icon remastered
Completely redesigned, the Beats Studio over-ear headphones are even lighter, stronger, and more comfortable, and more precise than the original world-famous design. They deliver powerful, re-engineered sound alone with Adaptive Noise Canceling, a 20-hour rechargeable battery, and Remote Talk controls.
Feel your music
The Beats Acoustic Engine gives you an intimate, real encounter with your music. Thanks to Beats' signature DSP software delivers the exact emotional experience that Dr. Dre, Jimmy Iovine, and some of the music industry's greatest rock, hip-hop, pop, electronic, and R&B producers want you to feel.
Put the world on mute
Silence the noise from your daily commute or the drama from your loud neighbors with Beats' no-compromise dual-mode Adaptive Noise Canceling (ANC). When you're listening to music, ANC automatically strikes a balance between your audio and the world outside. And if you want to use the headphone just to cancel external noise, ANC-only mode automatically increases the level of noise cancellation to make things even quieter.
A 20-hour rechargeable battery makes sure your vibe keeps going. To prevent wasting energy, the Auto On/Off feature turns off when you unplug, and the visible Battery Fuel Gauge lets you see at a glance how much juice is available. Plus, you can charge the new Studio via standard micro USB adapter almost anywhere.
Lighter, stronger, and more comfortable
When Beats re-imagined these legendary headphones, they designed it like a beautiful sports car and made disciplined choices. They streamlined the new Beats Studio with fast curves, smooth surfaces, and no visible screws. It now weighs 13 percent less than the original and has a lighter, stronger, and more comfortable headband. The ear cups are softer and there's an ergonomic bellow to create a flexible, custom fit for every head shape, so you can keep your music all to yourself.
- Beats Acoustic Engine uses precision sound to deliver music the way artists want it to be heard
- Streamlined design enhances fit, distributes weight, and adds comfort
- Adaptive Noise Canceling blocks out the world in two modes

I was especially surprised by how good the noise cancelling is. Neighbor was mowing the lawn and I didn't even notice.

They are sleeker than other headphones (including older beats) and the rechargeable feature is cool too. But most importantly they offer the highest sound quality and the best noise cancellation technology of any headphones I have tried. I also like the cool packaging and how light they feel even when you have them on for hours. Highly Recommended! …

I believe if you were to have these individuals compare Bose cube speakers vs some honest high quality towers by the likes of Magnepan or Paradigm, even B&W... They'd believe that Bose was a bargain and that the other speakers had no right costing so much more. Absolutely hilarious. …

Beats Studio 2.0 versus Sennheiser Momentum

The Sennheisers are super for home listening. They have a natural sound that balances bass and treble beautifully. They are also incredibly light for an over-the-ear headphone. And they look great, without being flashy. I bought the Beats for their active noise cancelling function as I travel a lot. They are also great - especially their ability to remove the drone of air travel - but are a little bass-heavy. The design is a little shout for me (look at me, I bought beats!!). They also weigh 70% more the the Sennheisers, which can be fatigueing. Bottom line, if you are shopping for a $300 over-the-ear headphone then either of these will be good for you. Just decide if you need noise cancelling. …

Earpads pulling apart

After six months, the earpads have been coming apart at the seams. Beats Support tells me you can't get new earpads, you need a whole new unit. They'll be happy to replace my Beats, but it will involve me shipping my current unit to them and then waiting for the replacement to be sent to me. It'll take a month of turnaround. All for an earpad whose seam should never come part to begin with. …
