The BeoPlay H6 over-ear headphones give you authentic sound that's built on a clear midrange and a careful balance between bass and treble. This level of audio quality is delivered by 40 mm custom-designed drivers with neodymium magnets that are perfectly angled to get the best distance and sound direction into your ears. There's also an internal bass port to ensure carefully balanced bass performance from this closed headphone design.
Optimal sound and fit
To provide the ideal listening experience, B&O PLAY thoroughly studied the shape and curves of the human ear to determine the proper geometries that reduce sound leakage and reveal all the fine details in the music no matter what the volume.
The primary structural components are made of anodized high-grade aluminum, so BeoPlay H6 is surprisingly light as well as robust and scratch-resistant. There's even anodized aluminum on the adjustable slider arm and cover plate to finish the design with a final vibrant touch.
Superb industrial design
Danish industrial designer Jakob Wagner collaborated with B&O PLAY in shaping BeoPlay H6. His training as a mechanical engineer and industrial designer allowed him to influence all the practical stages of the design process.

Its elegant, stylish design caught my eyes. I have owned Bose QuietComfort 15, currently have a pair of Sennheiser Momentum, i have decided to give it a try. Well, that's one of the smartest decisions I have made since I purchased Sennheiser Momentum. If you are a fan of good sound, you need no introduction of Sennheiser Momentum, i would say Beoplay H6 is on the same level as Momentum, even better in some aspects.
In terms of style, its looks speaks for itself, I haven't seen a more beautiful headphone than this, and that including Momentum. Don't let the beauty fools you, its sound is just as nice as it looks. If you are looking for heavy bass, go look somewhere else, i can say this is hands-down the most balanced headphone on the market (in the 400 dollars range). No matter how loud you turn on the volume, it doesn't distort the sound, it let you hear every single keys. Its light weight enables you to wear it for hours without feeling it is on your head. What i like about is its bigger earcups, if you have big ears like me, wearing Momentum for longer duration can hurt my ears and make them steamy, this problem doesn't exist with Beoplay H6. However, i found it will make your good tracks (320kbps) even better, and expose your bad tracks (256 kbps or less) even more. It also can be folded for easy storage (Momentum can't be folded). It has two connections ports (one each under the earcup), allows you to share music with other people, just by plugging the 3.5mm jack into the other connection port. Overall, it is one of the elite headphones I have experienced (in the 400 dollars range). If i have to pick between Beoplay H6 and Momentum, I would pick Beoplay H6, because of its balanced sound, better design and portability, lastly, bigger earcups. So, if you have extra 100 bucks to spare, i would say go for it, you won't regret it. (If you do regret it, you have the Applestore 14 days return policy :) …

Great quality for 399

So when I found out that they were going to make a new headphone set to compete with others on the market I was excited. The old Form 2 headphones, which b&o has had for years, really needed to be updated. first off let me say that if you like listening to heavy rock or Rap then these headphones are not for you. These headphones have a well balanced frequency range. While most headphones concentrate on heavy bass, the B&O H6 allow you to hear the mids and highs that you wouldn't hear with other headphones, with just the right amount of bass. These headphones are crafted in aluminum with plastic with large driver magnets. Real Australian leather, which is supposed to be a lot smoother. They have very comfortable ear cushions and at times you forget you are even wearing them. These are not noise canceling but they do a good job at silencing noises around you so that you can enjoy your music. Overall these headphones are well worth it at 399. …

I think this headphone is one of the most beautiful headphones on the market. When you hold it in your hands, it feels very well made with good quality materials. Everything feels expensive (they are actually expensive too!). B&O has always focused a lot on the design of its products and this one is no exception.
This headphone is not meant for everybody.
The sound is flat but well balanced. The mids and highs are very clear but the lows are almost absent (almost no bass). Compared to Sennheiser's Momentum, I find the Momentum to have a clearer sound but less wide sound stage than the H6.
Many people may not like flat sound, since nothing is pronounced and it can become boring after a long period of listening. I personally prefer a warmer sound. …

Wow. I have tried lots of headphones and always find one or two flaws in every one. No product is perfect but these are as perfect Wow. I have tried lots of headphones and always find one or two flaws in every one. No product is perfect but these are as perfect as any product can be. I was debating between these and others like the bowers and wilkins p7's. The p7s are way too heavy and big and not as comfortable despite sounding as good as these beoplay h6's.
Lets talk about what to love. They are build so comfortable and light and of quality materials. The sound quality is so clear and despite what some have said i love the way it sounds on even hip hop music. The ear cups are a good size but do not stick out or make you look dorky in public. The cable on them can be plugged into the left or even the right ear cup it is your choice! The ear cups are soft and feel built to last. The remote on the inline remote is also big enough to feel unless some that are hard to use due to size or hard to click. The cable is also the thickness of the beats headphones so they do not tangle easily. The mobile cord is long enough but not so long it hands down too much like bose ae headphones did. Lastly my ears dont get hot with these as much as almost all other headphones.
Trust me when i say this.. i honestly cannot find a flaw with these. I listen to pop, hip hop, rock, alternative and even 80's and 90's music and these sound perfect with all of it. If you want tons of bass just turn up the bass in the equalizer on an iPod or iPhone. They can handle it and sound great either way. They are beautiful headphones and as light as most bose ones but with much better sound. You can't go wrong with these and the sound is equal to the bowers and wilkins p7s which i loved too. Just wasn't crazy about their size, weight and leather pads that made me hot in the summer. These are my favorite headphones i have ever owned and they will be replacing my bowers p5's. …

Worth the price, great headphones!

I thought I wanted noise canceling, I set off looking for a over the ear headphone and boy are there lots of them to choose from. I thought I wanted noise canceling, but they made me feel like I was swimming underwater and I didn't like that feeling. I went to a few different stores and spent a few hours testing different types of headphones. I wanted to like the B&W P7s based on the reviews I had read online, but they just didn't block out noise like the B&O do around my ears. Tried Beats, Solo, Bose, Parrot, Sony etc. etc. but in the end I kept coming back to the B&O. They are very comfortable to wear, look and feel high end and sound pretty good to top it off. Now yes, the bass on these will not blow you away in fact they may put off the lowest sounding bass out of all the ones I tried, but I don't like heavy bass. Are they worth $400, my answer in a nut shell is yes. They sound amazing, you hear sounds from your music you've never heard before, block out a decent amount of external noise and look and feel high end compared to the +$300 competitors. So yes, I shelled out $400 and picked up a pair of B&O H6 and have been happy with them so far. …
