This is great case. It does not make the phone much larger and is a better design than the mophie for 4S. You can also still use This is great case. It does not make the phone much larger and is a better design than the mophie for 4S. You can also still use the apple headphones without using the included extension which is a plus as I don't want to lose another piece functional hardware.
My only complaint is that if this is an Apple approved device why didn't they put the lightning charging port on it. I really don't want to carry an additional charger.
I would recommend and would buy again. …

A little long

I always purchased a case for each of my iPhones for when riding my Harley. For my iPhone 5 I decided to keep it in a case and decided to get the Mophie. So far I like it. Initially I was worried it was going to be too big and too long. Because at work I wear a uniform with shirt pockets with a flap. It fits perfectly. The Mophie and the iPhone charges fine when connected to power and it is a bit slow to recharge the iPhone when you turn the Mophie on. The case feels soft and sleek in your hand and the length took some time (a day or two) to get used to but I really like it. I believe I will keep the iPhone 5 covered in the Mophie Juice Helium for the life of the phone or the case. …

it's own set of issues. The 4s design flaw was the on off switch, poor location so that every time
you dropped the phone the corner was vulnerable. The 5s has two major issues, one is that it
needs to have equal distance between where you connect it. The first one broke after 5 months
because the whole bottom cover separated from the innards. Another design flaw is the stupid
extension jack which is prone to bending and then gets a short in it. I've had my new case for
3 weeks now and can't listen to the headphones with the case on because of this design flaw.
You can't use it without the extension because it's not long enough. I would not recommend this case. …

Great at first, then not so much.
I got this in Dec 2013, and worked great for 1 month, and each month to today (March 2014) it got worse (charged less). Now (like I got this in Dec 2013, and worked great for 1 month, and each month to today (March 2014) it got worse (charged less). Now (like one other reviewer posted) it charges 9-10% in just a minute or two then dies (and gets really hot). I got the black one, and never had paint issues (because perhaps it's not painted [the whole plastic is black]), but I did drop it and the side, being plastic, chips away. …

Amazing, except that I don't use it at all because....
Mophie really shot themselves in the foot this time, or perhaps it was Apple who inadvertently did so.
I was always interested Mophie really shot themselves in the foot this time, or perhaps it was Apple who inadvertently did so.
I was always interested in using the Mophie phone charger cases (both my parents have had one for iPhone 4 and they recently upgraded to iPhone 5s) but after the change from the original iPhone port to the new "Mophie port" strictly on the iPhone 5 means I would have to buy another car charger specifically for my Mophie and another wall connector, and another connector cable for my computer (one would obviously be included with the Mophie, hopefully, but who knows). Looks like the greed has got to Mophie and/or Apple. If they would have just used the Lightning port I would never take my Mophie case off. It probably has to do with Apple being a rumpus about it's 'Lightning drive anyways.' Sad to say I'll be sticking with my 9.99 Incipio case for the time being.
BTW, Happy 30 Year Anniversary Apple …
