The texture is unique and great for gripping onto things. It works perfectly for keeping my phone in one place while I am driving and have my phone connected to my bluetooth. This also eliminates the amount of times I usually drop my phone when I have other cases on it. Overall great buy and I definitely recommend it! …

What I really like about it is that it has the rough exterior and a soft interior so it feels like my phone is super protected! LOVE IT! I would totally recommend this case for anyone who is a little rough on their phones like me! …

Really cool, one of a kind case!
This case is awesome and I haven't seen any other cases like it around. It is similar to the black sandpaper top of a skateboard. This case is awesome and I haven't seen any other cases like it around. It is similar to the black sandpaper top of a skateboard. It has good grip but doesn't feel too rough. I've gotten so many compliments on it and what I like most is that it's thin and not too bulky. Highly suggest getting your hands on this one! …

could be a great case....
but its brittle design makes the top corners far too susceptible to breaking (take a look at the thin piece of plastic on the top, but its brittle design makes the top corners far too susceptible to breaking (take a look at the thin piece of plastic on the top, near the camera lens)- as my case did. The TAVIK GRIP TAPE case is on the 'expensive' side of the case spectrum which makes the purchase a bust. Try another- you will be glad you did.. …

Love it, but it broke

Its almost impossible to drop the phone with it on there, because of the mild sandy texture. And there is no rubbery silicon junk on this, I hate that stuff. It's sleek and adds zero bulk to the phone. I found the sandy texture wore down a bit which is good because when you first get it it almost feels sharp. I'd put the protection factor at Low for this case. A small lip prevents the screen from harm on surfaces, the plastic is thin. Back is pretty well protected and fully covered. I got this and a screen protector mainly to prevent the phone from getting scratched up in my pockets.
I think pressure against something like my keys broke it in my pocket.
I took it out of my pocket the other day and the whole bottom left corner is broken off. Not cool. I'd take a new one, but have no clue if any warranty will be in effect. I saved the receipt so I guess I'll call. I know the apple store where I bought it won't back it up. I'll try though. …

I have had no issues with it cracking or breaking. The grip was once very noticeable, but either it has worn off or I have gotten used to it. Regardless, the grip is very nice.
I have dropped the phone at least five times and the case protected the phone completely. This seems too good to be true, but it is true! It's so slimline and sleek, yet it provides great protection.
This case is well worth the money. …
