great bag but could be more functional.

I brought this bag specifically for the 4 months of monsoon we have here. I needed something to protect my Apple devices. While the bag looks solid and beautiful the inside of it is not as functional. there is just a general compartment for keeping accessories, which could had been neat if there this was organized into sections for stuff like a magic mouse, a portable hdd, pens etc..
since this is just a general compartment everything seems to get collected in one corner when on the move. i would want to put my magic mouse there cause the glass touch panel could easily get scratched in there by other accessories. cant risk putting stuff like pilot pens there cause a loose cap could easily ink the soft fabric inside.
overall i am disappointed that a bag of such a good built quality and price fails to measure on the most important thing... functionality. …

How much does this bag carry in terms of text books/folders? Can this be an alternative to a backpack for college student?

I would definitely go with the 15" version. There is room for a couple of books, but thinking back t I would definitely go with the 15" version. There is room for a couple of books, but thinking back to being in school I always ended up with a couple of extra items which would make the 13" a tight fit (water bottle, snack, phone, cords, etc...). 15" would be roomier. I would have loved this as a college student because you can separate things in to compartments to find them easily. …
